Master Chief Voice Actor Blasts White House for Using Halo in War Video!

About this episode

Master Chief’s voice actor Steve Downes is blasting the White House for using Halo footage in a propaganda video supporting the war in Iran. He called it “disgusting and juvenile war porn” and demanded they remove it immediately because he never approved his voice or the character being used for political messaging. Clownfish TV breaks down how the government casually hijacked one of gaming’s most iconic heroes without permission, why Downes is so pissed, and what this says about how far politicians will go to push their agenda.Watch the podcast episodes on YouTube and all major podcast hosts including Spotify.CLOWNFISH TV is an independent, opinionated news and commentary podcast that covers Entertainment and Tech from a consumer’s point of view. You said you were over him, but his hoodie is stilling your rotation. It's time. Grab your phone, snap a few pics, and sell it on D-Pop listed in minutes with no selling fees. And just like that, a guy 500 miles away just paid full price for your closure and ride on cue. Nope, but I've got tonight's dinner paid for. Start selling on D-Pop. We're taste, recognizes taste. List now with no selling fees. Famine processing fees and boosting fees still apply. See website for details. So it's not just Nintendo that's getting pissed off at the White House. Now the voice actor of Master Chief that he's Steve Downs demanding that the White House remove videos memes using his voice. I don't think that's his call to be honest. Now he doesn't have to be happy with how the White House is using Master Chief in memes. But remember, he doesn't own the voice. It is his voice, but technically it's also Master Chief's voice, and it belongs to Microsoft.

So if anybody's going to take any action, it's going to have to be Microsoft. But here's his original tweet, we'll go out and talk about this. He says, come to my attention that there is at least one propaganda video circulating that was either produced or at the very least endorsed by the White House and uses images of Master Chief and uses my voice to support the war in Iran. Let me make this crystal clear, I did not participate in nor was I consulted nor do I endorse the use of my voice in this video or the message it conveys. Now it could be that he just wants to distance himself from it, but he does seem to indicate that he wants it down because then he goes on to say, I demand that the producers of this disgusting and juvenile war porn remove my voice immediately. And that would be up to Microsoft to do that, but there are a lot of people not happy with the memes being used by the White House. And look, regardless of how you feel about it, I got to admit, it's a little surreal to

see all these video game memes coming out of the official White House account. We talked about Nintendo and ICE and Pokemon and Pocopia and all this stuff. And where's the Pac-Man? Where's the Pac-Man memes, White House, somebody's slipping. And stillers also demanding the White House removed tropic thunder clips from their prop again to machine. This guy reminds me of several years ago, there are a couple of musicians that were not happy about right wingers using their music during their campaign or, you know, I'm saying, it does tend to swing one way. Let's be honest. It's usually they're not happy. They don't like the right using their stuff. In this case, it probably is fair use and who's going to sue the White House over memes. I don't know. It could happen, I guess. So, taking the X-Steve down, the iconic voice of our beloved Spartan master chief slam the Trump White House for using his voice and what he described as a disgusting as disgusting and juvenile war porn video, master chief as well as Iron Man and the film tropic thunder

were included in a despicable, this is coming from hip-hop wired, a despicable video montage of US Air Strikes and Iran bombing targets titled Justice the American Way. So what, he's allowed to feel, however, he wants to feel about it, but legally, I don't think he's got much of a case, and like I said, it's going to be up to Microsoft to make that call. What are you? Too good and co-coffee creamers are made with farm fresh cream, real milk, and contain three grams of sugar per serving. Too good coffee creamers, real goodness in every sip, find them at your local crogr in the creamer aisle.
