In this week's episode I catch up with Guy Lawrence, co-owner of superfood company 180 Nutrition. I first met Guy about 3 or 4 years ago when we were both training at the same CrossFit box (that was definitely my former life) and I used to make bliss balls (before they were a thing) using his delicious 180 nutrition powder. But this episode is so much more than just a recount of his successful health business. In fact it's a story he hasn't shared in a forum like this before. We discuss everything from how losing his girlfriend, being hit by a car and drowning in debt all at the same time was the catalyst for a life change, to how his experience with the psychedelic drug ayahuasca changed the way he looks at fear. Guy recounts his experience with a charity that helped cancer patients with their recovery by trialing groundbreaking methods of nutrition and strength training and how this formed the basis for his now successful superfood business.
