Maryland Terrapins' Future Stars Shine at Capital Classic

0:00On March 4th, two future Maryland Terrapins basketball players from the class of 2026 will team up at a top high school showcase this. Spring. Five star-wing Baba Oledotan, and four star-forward, Automatambadu, both made the capital All-Stars roster for the 53rd annual capital classic. The events started back in 1974 and always draws the country's best prospects, many headed to college, or the pros. This year's game happens Saturday, April 4th, at a capital One arena in Washington, D.C., the first time there since 2017. It airs on monumental sports network, too. Maryland fans love seeing these recruits shine early, especially Oledotan, the top name in the class from James Hubert Blake High School. He skipped to most of his senior year, but looks ready without any injury flags. Tambadu, a six foot seven standout from Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut, brings tough defense and rebounding energy. Both picked Maryland after strong talks with coaches, drawn by the program's growth plans.
