Marquette Lands Hometown Hero Nolan Minessale

Nolan Minasale, a six-foot-five guard from St. Thomas, is heading to the Golden Eagles with two seasons of eligibility left. Last year as a sophomore, he dropped 19.8 points, grabbed 4.6 rebounds, and dished 4.3 assists per game. This Milwaukee native started Marquette High School, where he helped snag a WIAA Division I state title in 2024. At St. Thomas, he lit it up during their jump from Division III to Division I in the Summary League, drawing NBA scouts with his high usage and athleticism. Fans are buzzing because Minasale slots right into Marquette's back court needs, pairing perfectly with Big Man, Sonanda Fru, from Louisville. Fru brings front court muscle from an ACC squad that made the NCAA second round, while Minasale adds scoring punch off the bench or as a starter. His game looks ready for the biggie step up.
