Marquette Basketball's Historic All-Conference Honors

Skyler Forbes and Halley Vice earned unanimous first team honors while Lee Volker made the second team. These picks marked the first time the Golden Eagles have had three players recognize on those squads in the same season. Forbes, a junior forward, led the league in blocks for the second straight year at 1.81 per game and ranked fourth in scoring with. 15.5 points per outing. Vice, also a junior, topped the conference in double doubles with 10 and stood second and rebounding at 8.8 boards per game. Volker shown as a top three-point shooter, hitting 43.3% from deep, good for second in the B-I-G. This achievement tops off a strong regular season for Marquette's core scorers, all preseason first team picks back in October. It also puts the team's second in the conference for total selections, trailing only Yukon's four honorees.
