About Mark Elvidge Mark Elvidge is the President and CEO of Vermont Nut Free Chocolates in Grand Isle, VT. Mark co-founded the company with his wife Gail after learning that their son was diagnosed with a severe nut allergy. Prior to starting the company in 1998, Mark was the general manager for IGL Duty Free, one of Canada’s largest land border duty free stores. Mark is always seeking opportunities to raise awareness of nut allergies and food allergies both on a local and national scale. In his free time, Mark enjoys skiing throughout the Vermont area, as well as reading and spending time with his family. About Vermont Nut Free Chocolate Established in 1998, Vermont Nut Free Chocolates specializes in handmade gourmet treats that are safe for individuals with peanut and tree nut allergies. Its product line includes chocolate bars, chocolate covered pretzels, granola bars, truffles, caramels and novelty items.
