There's a two-word term that suits liberals pretty well, "virtue signaling." That is, they have virtue because of what they feel, what they think, but it's never based on what they do. For instance, they talk about illegal aliens and how America should welcome them and fund them and educate them and pay for their medical bills and not deport them after they commit horrific crimes. I've personally helped legal immigrants into America with my own money. I had to prove it to immigration with a signed bank statement that I had the money to support the immigrants I wanted to bring in. I had to vet those immigrants, and I expect liberals to do the same. If they want an immigrant here, they pay for them. That immigrant can stay in their house. They can pay the bills for that immigrant. But claiming virtue by making someone else pay for all that?
