Mandatory Marvel & DC Ep4: Guardian Devil Review

It is time for episode 4 of Mandatory Marvel & DC, a brand new show for the Comics In Motion network that looks back at the very biggest and best stories from the annals of the Big 2 - Marvel and DC! Each episode, Max Byrne will be joined by a special guest to enjoy a chat about that week's subject matter, talking about what we love about these top tier titles! For this instalment, we look back at the Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada classic Daredevil storyline, Marvel’s Guardian Devil. Released as eight issues (Daredevil (vol. 2) #1-#8) from 1998 to 1999. This is one of many great Daredevil runs and sees Matt broken down and questioning whether he’s left caring for the Messiah or the Antichrist. Chock full of religious and adult themes, this story is a good jumping on point for anyone who hasn’t ventured into Matt Murdock’s world. This week, Max is joined by comic book and podcast addict Dave Horrocks for a fun chat all about this masterpiece comic book title.
