It is time for episode 2 of Mandatory Marvel & DC, a brand new show for the Comics In Motion network that looks back at the very biggest and best stories from the annals of the Big 2 - Marvel and DC! Each episode, Max Byrne will be joined by a special guest to enjoy a chat about that week's subject matter, talking about what we love about these top tier titles! For this second instalment, we look back at the masterpiece Elseworld classic that is Kingdom Come. Released as a four part mini-series in 1996, this seminal work by Mark Waid and Alex Ross took the big hitters of the DC universe and put them into a dystopian future where the old guard of heroes have withdrawn into the shadows and have been replaced by a new generation that do not share the moral virtues of their predecessors. With the world at a tipping point, the race towards armageddon has begun... This week, Max is joined by the amazing Dave Horrocks for a fun chat all about this masterpiece comic book title.
