Manchester Woman Charged with Attempted Murder

0:00On March 8th, a 25-year-old woman from Manchester faces attempted murder charges after an incident at a tram stop in West Ditzberry. Kaira Finlayson, who lives on Victoria Cresson, allegedly attacked another woman there on March 4th. Police say the victim, in her 30s, suffered a cuts to her head. Finlayson has also been charged with assault from a separate event. Greater Manchester Police confirmed the charges in a statement over the weekend. They describe the main incident as happening at the Metro link station. She's been held in custody until her first court appearance. That hearing is set for Monday at Manchester and software magistrates court. Authorities are treating the cases seriously as the legal process moves forward.
