Manchester Metrolink Tram Fault Halts Services

Near sulphur keys, no trams are running between Eccles and Pomona, leaving 10 stops completely out of action. The impacted stops stretch from Eccles through Ladywell, Weast, Langworthy, and Broadway. All the way to media C-U-K, Harbor City Anchorage, sulphur keys, and Exchange Quay. That's a big chunk of the network down for now. Officials that transport for greater Manchester say they're sorry for the hassle this is causing commuters, especially early in the day when people are. Heading to work or school. Meanwhile, trams on the Ashton line are only going as far as Dean's Gate Castlefield, but the Trafford Center line is running normally through Pomona. Metro link tickets are valid on several B- networked buses to help passengers get around.
