The posts happen in January and February, and authorities say he was close to acting on them. His threats began on January 8th with a direct warning to kill Trump. Over the next weeks, he escalated by claiming he had a thousand rounds ready for ICE agents and talked about shooting people, including Trump, supporters, Google flagged the videos as possible emergencies involving serious harm and tipped off the FBI. Investigators linked the posts to Jeffrey Scott Ham Jr., who admitted they were his when questioned. He's now charged with transmitting threats across state lines to the president and federal officers. People can mean up to five years in prison, a fine as high as $250,000, and three years of supervised release.
