A 54-year-old man from Western New South Wales has beaten the odds by surviving three days stranded in remote bushland after his car rolled into a creek. The crash happened sometime on Monday along Rensha Magheer Way when his vehicle flipped down a muddy embankment and sank into the water at Kira. Creek about 11 kilometers south of Wellington. He managed to get out of the sinking car but couldn't climb back to the road because of his injuries and his phone stayed trapped inside with no way to reach it. A local farmer spotted him Thursday morning during a routine property check and called for help right away, leading to a quick rescue. Paramedics treated him for dehydration, hypothermia, and injuries to his chest and limbs, calling it an incredibly lucky escape before airlifting him. To hospital and serious but stable condition, while police keep investigating and seek any dash cam footage from the area. That's your Adelaide News Today update, AI powered and always on.
