Man Sentenced for Fatal Police Chase

0:00On May 1st, a 24-year-old man from Merseyside, named Cain Fereker, just got hit with a 12-year and nine-month prison sentence for causing. His girlfriend's death in a wild police chase crash. He admitted to dangerous driving that killed 24-year-old Taylor Jenkins from Edinburgh, who was riding shotgun in his car. The crash went down on March 1st near Sunderland, when Fereker, already banned from driving and loaded with cocaine, cannabis, ecstasy, and ketamine, barreled the wrong way down the A19 at speeds up to 136 mph, smashing head-on into a taxi. His buddy in the back seat took serious injuries, too, while Fereker first lied to cops about driving and even tried driving an officer to let him slide. The judge at Newcastle Crown Court called it the most dangerous driving imaginable and slapped him with a 13-and-a-half-year driving ban on top.
