It's April 21st. Welcome to Kansas News today, powered by AI. A man in the Kansas City area is facing serious charges after a wild car chase that dragged in three local police departments and hid speeds over one. 100 miles per hour, Reginald Lamp con Jr. got things started Monday in Liberty by blowing through a red light and almost smashing into another car. Then he kept going. Even after officers tried to pull him over. The 13-minute pursuit wound through Liberty, Kansas City, Missouri and Riverside, with Lamp can ignoring lights and pushing that white Mazda. CX-9 to the limit. It all wrapped up on Interstate 635 near the Kansas line when he ditched the car, bolted across lanes and got taken down by a taser after, refusing orders to stop. Now he's hit with felony aggravated fleeing in Clay County Court, staring down up to seven years in prison and a $10,000 fine with bond. Set at $100,000.
