Man Resists Arrest, Slammed by Police

It all started when reports came in of him jumping on cars along Bristol Road in Celi Oak. Around 1110 pm on March 26, officers arrived to cuff him for the damage. But he pushed back hard, shoving one cop into a shop front and another onto a bench during the struggle. Onlooker stood shocked as the scene unfolded right in front of them on a busy street. As Midlands Police confirmed, they charged him with criminal damage, plus two counts of assaulting emergency workers. The very next day, on March 27, Genniamid faced Birmingham magistrates court. He pleaded guilty and got remanded in custody while waiting his sentence. Incidents like this highlight the risks when resistance meets response, keeping everyone on edge out there.
