A 22-year-old man named Ivan Miller faces murder charges in Utah for killing three women to steal their cars and credit cards. He targeted them during a trip back toward Iowa where he had a prior run-in with the law. Court records show police in Iowa arrested him two months earlier for breaking into a cabin at a state park and illegal hunting. They released him without bail, but he skipped his Friday court date because he was already in custody elsewhere. Meanwhile, the killings happened in southern Utah's desert area near Capitol Reef National Park. Miller had hidden elk with his truck days before, sold the damaged vehicle, and ended up sleeping in a shed. He then killed Linda Dewey, 65, and her niece Natalie Graves, 34, who were out on a local hike. Their bodies turned up in a dry creek bed. Later, he shot 86-year-old Margaret Oldroyd in her home and took her buick. Families of Dewey and Graves are heartbroken, calling the spot a safe family favorite now
