From Birmingham, this is your March 17th update. A Jefferson County jury recently indicted Charles Richard Brian on Capitol murder charges tied to a deadly shooting in Trust Bill, Alabama. The incident happened back on December 18, 2024, in the 700 block of Morgan Drive, which falls under leads, police jurisdiction. Offerses rushed to the scene after a call reporting a shooting with the suspect still there. They arrested Brian right away and found a man and woman inside the home with gunshot wounds. The woman made it to the hospital, but the man did not survive. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Luis Enrique Herrera, Valenciana, pronounced dead on the spot. Just two days later, on December 20, police secured arrest warrants for Capitol murder and attempted murder against Brian. Court records show the grand jury formalized the charges on March 13, 2026. They say Bryant shot Herrera, Valenciana, while trying to break into the home for first degree burglary.

Bryant remains in Jefferson County jail with no bond set as the case moves forward. This episode is proudly sponsored by our partner. Some chase piece, I put my head in it. S-O-L-I-SoliPillow.com Made in AI
