This is Cory with the story, here with your quick two-minute update from Durham News today. A 67-year-old man suffered severe damage to his ear after being attacked by his neighbor's dogs in Vance County. The dogs belonged to 31-year-old Quentin Spruel, who had been cited before for not keeping his animals properly confined on his property. Debidys say the attack happened on March 7th, when three of Spruel's dogs went after the man. On March 16th, Spruel faced three misdemeanor charges for attacks by dangerous dogs, and he posted a $3,000 secure bond. He is due in Vance County District Court on April 7th.
