Man Admits to Hiding Mom's Body in Freezer

0:00On April 16, a 60-year-old man from Wales named Christopher Phillips just admitted to blocking the proper burial of his 89-year-old mom, Sylvia. Cops found her body stuffed in a chest freezer at their home in port call back in February. It all came out after her doctor got worried and called for a welfare check. Turns out she had died some time in 2023, but he never reported it. On top of that, he pleaded guilty to two fraud charges for not telling the Benefits Department or the local council in Bridgin about her passing, so the payments kept rolling in. In court, the judge called his actions extremely serious offences and at a recent inquest pathologist couldn't figure out the cause of death with. Investigations still underway. Phillips' space is sentencing on 2 June, as this grim family secret finally unravels in the public eye.
