Washington DC Mayor said that Washington is safe. The statistics show otherwise. So Mr Trump has declared a public safety emergency. He is placing the city’s Metropolitan Police Department under the temporary authority of Attorney General Pam Bondi. Mr Trump announced today, “We’re declaring a public safety emergency in the District of Columbia. We will bring in the military if necessary!” You know the nation’s Capitol supposedly belongs to all of us, but has become a place of fear. Mr Trump said, “We don’t want people pushed into subways and killed.” I don’t think America cares about made-up statistics. They want to feel safe. And Democrat run cities fail to make people safe - except for maybe criminals. So Mr Trump says. “We’re not just making America great again. We’re going to make Washington DC great again!”
