All right so you guys got the finals pretty much coming up here for corn fairy tour. So you've been out on that corn fairy tour for a long time now. I think it was two years ago that your ass came one stroke short of having a PGA tour card twice in the span of a couple months. It was just got wrenching. You've been our guy for a long time. We don't really have a question to ask you to be honest with you corn fairy tour reached out. They have crunched the numbers. They have run the gamut. 6:31My goodness. Yeah. Yeah. This is awesome. Well done Alistair. You are the man. Man when I met you, you were caddy and at Silver Leaf trying to save up money to Monday qualify to go to the first stage of huge school. Alex Hankey who's doing great at pie and hers by the way. I saw him a couple times over the last few weeks. I was on four years later. Here you are officially tore bound this guy's going to the PGA tour and that is man the PGA tour is something that just has to be earned Alistair.

7:38That is not you know I was getting a little choked up doing my intro on a two-amp glad to held it together. But that is not something it's not like there's some scout in a baseball franchise that likes you and decides to take a shot on you and give you a contract. This is like pure meritocracy purely earned you got to go out there and get your ball in the whole week after week after week you're currently fourth in the corn fairy tour. Standings and you have locked up your PGA tour card which is the pinnacle. It's the peak. It's the best golf you could possibly play and you my friend did it. So very very big congratulations to you. Thank you Rick. Thank you and thanks for being my scout. You're a big you're a big part of that so thank you so much. I saw the way you're hitting the golf ball. I was like what the fuck is going on with this. Why is this guy out here at Mesa with us? What that's impossible. It's gotta be someone else. Because it was free golf I was in. Really really awesome. While we got you out you know I know obviously it's official now.

8:40With the numbers and everything it was pretty I think you had a pretty good idea that if you just play some semblance of the golf you could play. That it was going to happen. What's like going into next year. Having like a whole different opportunity. If you've done it like kind of not you don't want to try to get ahead of yourself. Any kind of prep for that. I've been trying to think about how you want to do it. What you're going to maybe be able to play in next year and schedule around it. What's because it's a different you know it's a different ballgame. They were in the major leagues now. Yeah. The last two weeks have been. We had two weeks off. So a little bit of a sit down and kind of look at next year's. Schedule and. I've already got three tournaments that are circled that I want to. One qualify for and to you know play well in. The first one that I'm guaranteed to get into is the am X. Obviously I. You know about my little bit about my caddy and background when I first. Finished up at Chico State I went down to the vintage club in Palm Desert. So.

9:40I caddy there for a few years and I've actually played. I've played in the. I've played in the. I've played in the. Those golf courses quite a bit. We used to tip the. The card guys at PGA West and you know three o'clock 20 bucks. Here you go. We're going to go T off he goes. Yeah plays many as you want. So. I've played those golf courses. I'm really excited about that one. Obviously living in Scottsdale now the waste is going to be something very, very special. Yeah. That one's circle for you big. That's a. I'm trying to figure out. What I'm going to wear on 16. I mean that's it's a lot of things like that kind of Vancouver conduct jersey. I think that's what you're going to be wearing. No, that's that's got to wait until the RBC Canada. I mean I did it when I when I got through Myrtle. I want to. I was kind of thinking maybe a. Maybe one of our pickup hockey game hockey team jerseys Wow. The starpots imagine the starpots or. Yeah. I play a little six a.m.

10:40Morning hockey pickup hockey together occasionally. Yeah. Which I'm doing now because I might not. I might not. It was all fun and games a little bit earlier now. It's like we got to keep this guy healthy. I still might do starpucks, but I'm not going to do like actual games. Yeah. Yeah. Because you can get away with just skating at 6 a.m. It gets the body moving and then you can go do everything else. But when you have the the games at 9 10 p.m. 11 p.m. Dude and you just can't help the bar until 2 a.m. I know and you can't help it. You're like I'm going to go out there and just skate around make sure I don't get hurt. And then like you start to hate the other team five minutes into the game and you're sprinting into the corners to get the. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a. You know, I'll take it a little easier for sure. That's probably that's probably good idea. Yeah. The Phoenix open. I'm going to be I might hold the damn score leaderboard side and just be like I got. I got to see this man in the Phoenix open. So having in those events man.

11:40That is just so sick. It's like the world is your is your oyster now. You're going to be at the top level. I kind of forgot about your background with the mx. And I know like still to this day. A couple of times a year you kind of go out that way. Don't you I feel like can you go play the Madison club and kind of hang out with that group. Yeah. I don't know. I'm going to be playing out with that group. Yeah. I haven't played at the Madison for a couple years. But there is somebody out there that takes me out every once in a while. I've gone over there and hung out with David Woods since I used to work for him at the vintage club. I had a great time with him at Barbudis wedding. Mike Barbudis wedding. Me and me and David Woods and his wife hung out the whole time. He's a nice guy like him. He's awesome. He's awesome. He's been very, very helpful since I turned professional and he's the one boys that we had on at the Phoenix open. We were sitting there by the range. Yeah. Franky. All cars are gamuts and gadgets on Frankie trying to kind of get him straight now. Yeah. Yeah. How'd that go Frankie? He'd get all straight now. Doesn't work for ship. But now I'm on the thing now. Frankie's on the next.

12:40All that. We're on this performance golf app now and basically it said. So I haven't put out the video yet, but you scan your swing and it analyzes it and it finds a root flaw in it. And it gives you a score out of 100 and my first swing was a 20 out of 100. So we have a lot to work on. It was shocking. You have our best all the colors. You got our best. We're going to swing. Oh, that's not good. When you start to drink colors go on the screen. Right. You take away. I haven't done it yet. I'm like, here's. See you. Steve. Steve. Steve. Yeah. Well, the 20 out of 100, do you get 80% to improve on? And next thing you know, you're shooting in the 60s. That's what I'm talking about. So there's always room for improvement. But yeah, that was a great talk with David Woods. He's an interesting cat and he has all these gadgets and all these things. It's he's definitely because he's the pro sender guy, right? Yeah, I use it weekly. I need him to make lefty versions of all these things like the new one that he has. The one that's like, what is that?

13:40Help with like the lag or the connection. The. You know, like the why. The why. The why. The why. Yeah, that one. Yeah, that one. Like he doesn't have a lefty version of it. I'm like, he couldn't even have a prototype weapon version of it. Dude, that one, it was so funny when I was with him. I guess Big John had recently put out a video of the wider and he had it like upside down. And. Yeah. And he was like, shit, no, he's like, this thing sucks. And like David Woods is like panic DMing him being like, oh, he got it upside down. This is the biggest marketing opportunity I've ever had. So when I was with him at Barbooty's wedding, he was like, do you know Big John Gus? I was like, we were just kind of filming hanging out with him. And so I texted him and he's a big John goes, is that the upside down gadget guy? He goes, oh, I don't know. So he put out like a new video doing it right. Which was all fired up. Oh, that's funny. Yeah. No, I use the ProCender, the wrist cradle weekly. It's it's helped a lot that just gives me little checkpoints here and there that.

14:42Allow me to do what I do in my swing. And it's it's really nice to have everywhere I go on the road. Yeah, we love the skills stuff. And we're going to we're going to we've been having we have such a good deal with them. It's been great. But we also cannot ignore the fact that that ProCender like Rory, I see Rory's been using that thing at times. We got docker. He's now is tore bound like we might have to get in the market with them on the on the ProCender. Because I think kills and I think Sean Foley works with them pretty heavily on that thing too. Yeah. Have you put any is the word onus I'm looking for. Yeah. Onus on the back that once you stopped wearing bar stool golf gear your career. Became an absolute rocket ship and Elon Musk Mars bound rocket ship. I'm going to not. I'm going to go to the bar stool gear because I really started working hard with my sports psychologist and really dovin. Feels good.

15:42And it's it has helped me to get to where I'm at now. I. I have opened up to a couple people about it, but I was in a really, really bad space. Last winter, especially after Q school and what happened all of last year after the car accident and I wasn't myself. And so being able to sit down with my sports psychologist, Dr. Steven Geensberg. And Gensberg, sorry. And he has he has gotten me to a place where. Where I'm at now and every single day I'm constantly working on it, but it's it's so much easier to wake up in the morning and know what I need to do and go through the process and. I believe they're not. It's really nice to like yourself every single day. And when you don't let yourself every day, it's it's a scary place to be. So it's been a really big transformation and I'm really, really happy with where I'm at.

16:43I that's amazing. I do. I wish you would say that it was just the gears fall because then we would have a little storyline there. But yeah, I can't do that to you. He's just a favor there. He did a big favor. We dodged a bullet there. I don't know what to say. Like for the for the 16th at the at the WM Phoenix open, just wear anything but like a bar stool jersey or something. But what if I wear a bar stool jersey and I hoop it like that's that's now. So bad. The merch tents right there. We'll bring out whatever you want. It's one dude. It is true though. It rigged said before is such a great point and it's something that I think we overlooked as golf fans, but it's the one sport. Where no matter how much skill you have, you can't get led into the professional arena until you actually achieve. You know, the pinnacle of the sport as opposed to it being like you said, just a highly skilled player. Maybe you're a hockey player and just a big body like a Pierre Engval in the islanders. We signed for seven years. Not throw anyone into the bus or whatever, but like the big guy big skater.

17:43A lot of potential. Always comes down. Yeah, but like now it's like he's healthy scratch ever for seven years now. But like that guy and he earned his way up for sure all they did, but like there's guys that you're just like taking risks on and I thought that was such a great point by a rigs. You can't do that in golf. And I think that in the back of our mind when we were watching you get one stroke away multiple times and it's one pot over four days and all these things. Even I would have called talks with Trent, you know, on our long drives across the country going from event to event. We would be talking about Alistair and I would say, how is he handling all of this? Like I mean, at some point enough is enough like you would I would I wouldn't be mentally strong enough to be that close because you know your skill enough to get there. You know that if it was another sport, they would absolutely pick you and just wait for you to blossom. But in golf, it's like nope, go back to making nothing and just grinding and driving from place to place. You will never be up here until you make that final putt and to get that close that many times that would break anybody.

18:43So for you to be able to for you to now be able to kind of open up and say that you were going through hard times. I I commend you for being able to get through all of that. I think we all assumed you probably were going through tough times because that is a lot to handle dude. Like that's not easy. You're there. You've done it. And we all know golf. Like it's a fucking blade of grass that pushes the ball from right to left. And that's the difference between succeeding at your dreams. Right. Come on man, no other world, no other job, no other anything. Well, they not let you through maybe like a test that you have to like pass for your bar exam. Like you literally have to get a certain number. That's like the only thing I can compare it to. Like you have to get an actual number on a piece of paper to get through to the next thing. That's not easy dude. That is not easy. So that's my little rant and just I'm proud that you were able to proud of you that you were able to do that. Thank you. Yeah. It was a crazy time. And I think I was dealing with it well enough. And then when the car crash happened and I really couldn't fully come back from it.

19:50That's when it just spiraled and I wasn't doing anything to help myself. You know, I was just trying to put myself right back into competition and try and push through it like a like a hockey player. You know, I kept I think I told rigs this. I was like a Bruce on the leg is a long way from the heart like I'm going to keep. I'm going to keep going at this. You know, I'm going to keep pushing. I'm going to keep good and then you know, I find out that I was actually, you know, very, very concussed and I shouldn't have been playing golf and. You know, they didn't really diagnose me that after the car crash, which. Anybody should know you're very good cussed, but like a month and a half later when I finally had a week off and I went and saw a brain doctor. They were like, uh, you're still having symptoms like you need to shut it down. So it all led to, you know, what it led to now and to come out on the other side is. And do what I've done is is really, really awesome. Yeah, man, that is that is as tough as it gets and to have all that kind of happening and you going through that last year after.

20:52The heart breaks from the year before it would have been just as easy to let that be like the excuse for why you couldn't you didn't make it you got screwed a couple times. I was close and you could have easily just faded off the other direction of sort of this spectrum of like making a PGA tour you want an Argentina this year, you're our L campion. And then you know, shooting the back nine like zero that you shot a couple weeks ago to get into a playoff finish in second, you know, like those it would have been just as easy for you to go as far the other direction and instead to kind of rally to find that you weren't being yourself and to like put all the effort in to come out of it and get yourself as right as you could be. And then you know, you know, that is something that you've you've had that ability and that's like this resiliency and this discipline. You know, really since I've met you and since you kind of earned that first corn fairy tour status of you know, I know you like to go out and have a good time as much as anybody else out there and this this young man is he's off the sauce, he's eaten insanely healthy is in bed early.

22:04I feel like getting his body as perfect as it could possibly be. I'm trying to book a quick dinner with him and he's gotta go see a physio from four to six PM after hitting range balls, all that's like you're as disciplined and committed as any person could be. And so to then recognize this issue with your head space and what all it's connected to and then proactively do something about it to improve go full window Clark on it is very, very commendable and it worked out. Yeah, thank you. Thank you for saying that. That's been a lot of work. Because man, the amount of times I want to go out and have some beer since Great, great, great buddy. You're a great drink buddy. Yeah, I mean the last time the last time I had any sort of alcohol was that New Year's when we were when we were sending it a little bit and ever since then it was like, all right, we're gonna we're gonna shut it down. We're gonna do everything possible. Everything possible to make this happen. And if it doesn't, I can live with it that I did everything possible, but look at look at where I'm at now, you know, it's like why am I why am I'm gonna stop this this is this is full gas.

23:10We're going for it now. And I want you to know that I know that I'm not a good influence in those situations when I'm I'm always like, come on, I have a couple beat like what? That's a couple of years. They'll make you feel better like, you know, I just say no to that all the time. Very commendable again. So, yeah, man, it's been a hell of a ride. It's so fun to watch even what, you know, I know the Saturday game crew incredibly proud of you. I know you're not wearing the basketball golf game, but the CMC design folks and the black Clover folks are great friends of ours great friends of the program great friends of the Saturday game and our whole network and circle that we play in Arizona and beyond and golf. 24:15All right. I have 16 hole in ones. My most recent one was about two or three months ago. I was back home at Orchard Hills where kind of after when I first turned the pro they they gave me an honorary out there. It's a short R 70 so tree lined greens are super fast, pure. And we I was playing with Moose and a couple other buddies. And I actually flew it in the hole and we thought it flew over the green and it was just bone like if if you go over this green on hole five you have no chance of getting this up and down. And we get up there and the hole is just dent it and we're like, can you make a sound? And it was just in the hole. Sixteen is an outrage. Did you get any did you get anyone wearing barcel golf gear? That's the real test. I did not. Yeah, of course, of course, not. I did. It's like I did not. So maybe I have not been barcel golf gear. We have not gotten a home one. So

25:21now true. And any you know, any gear of deed is gear barcel golf gear. I just can't can't make it anything. Do you remember your first hole in one out? Yes. It was right before high school tryouts at campus Meadows. Hole number eight. It was 103 yards. The pin was in the front left. And I landed it about four feet behind it. And it spun back in with a full pitching ledge from 103. Yeah. What was the salary like for that and like right before high school tryouts with everyone go crazy? I wasn't with anybody from high school. It was I was with one of the guys that actually worked at the golf course. And it was just like I just started screaming and you know, kind of just black out and start running down there. You know, the typical stuff you see on YouTube golf. It just happens. That's that's what happens. Yeah, we see you. I think you go. We never. Yeah, right. We never made it happen. I've watched other people have happened all the time. Wow, going into high school golf tryouts. That's exciting. Speaking of high school golf. How about so on Monday? I played Pinehurst number two and played out there.

26:29Our good friend with show Tom passionately set the whole thing up. Eric Custer, who's one of his right hand men at Pinehurst. Who's great guy helps run the whole operation there. He brought his son Wells Custer out to play with us as well. He's going to be a senior in high school this year. He's a scratch golfer about around scratch golfer. He shot one under on the front nine at Pinehurst number two. Or I guess it was the back nine. We started on the back nine and his high school Pine Crest high school, which is the defending state champions, fragile men's golf. He is number eight on their high school golf team. He shot one under excuse me on the first nine holes would play to Pinehurst number two. He is the eight. He's like, I am at about the eighth slot. I was like, what? How was that possible? This is the same team that 12 year old Pete just graduated last year. And I last year, I didn't even realize this 12 year old Pete, who's now like 18 years old and Dayton chicks and stuff and going to Ohio State. 12 year old Pete made the winning pot to win states last year by one stroke. They won state championship last year.

27:32Shit. That's awesome. Yeah. I know what a job or not with high school team just an absolute wagon, just a wagon of a high school team. And that made me think of that because like we've had dug him on here before. He tells really funny high school golf stories from playing in like the Chicago Land area and he would win tournaments by like 55 strokes. Because I can't get it. PJ don't play or play and it gets average high school golfers, but yeah, some sticks down at Hillcrest high school. So shot to that program down there. Absolutely dominating people and pioneers. That's wild. I made varsity my freshman year. And I think I shot 79 83. And I was like the five guy from the white T's and it's like 6200 yards and my home golf course. Right. You play a high school golf. I played high school off. I wore shorts. Whoa. Yeah, that was back when I didn't know what the fuck was going on. I had my ears pierced. I was wearing I had my ears pierced. I was wearing like flat brim Cincinnati red hats.

28:36It was just a phase. Yeah. I don't know what was going on. I was listening to a lot of like limp biscuits and were you selling dime bags to other high school? I was like, I was, well, listen, I was, I was a delivery guy for Barrelli's Italian restaurant at that point driving like a Hyundai Genesis coupe that like I saved up for. I was a dirt bag. I was probably a dirt bag. I mean, I wouldn't touch a drug or alcohol. I was like a nerdy dirt bag. I just wanted to be cool. I wanted to be like my cousins. I had cousins that grew up in like a cool town. And they were dirt bikes. And they were like a little tanner than I am. So like they were just like all cool. You know what I mean? Sure. There was like just something about that. Like they were like ride dirt bikes that like a thick long island accent. I was there like trying to be cool. But they were like the hatchery they did like street legal dirt bikes. Yeah, I could go out. No, yeah, they would like ride dirt bikes. They'd go up to like find trails and shit. They're like a TV and they're just like cool guy shit. I don't know why I'm picturing the reds hat with like a white white theater or white theater on jeans and.

29:41Yeah, like 87 pounds. Shoot an 80s. What were you shooting in high school in terms of golf? Yeah, high school. I actually was so yeah, we played Beth Page was our home force. The Beth Page red and blue. We would play all the time. And my average. I think my first year freshman. So freshman year, we didn't have a golf team. We all played baseball is the same season as baseball. We all played baseball growing up. No one really played golf that often. I was probably like me, my buddy Tom. We we dabbled in golf just because like our dad played my dad would take me out. That was like my first stories and four play history. My dad would like we would sneak out to the eyes and our golf driving range and we hated hitting off mats. We would just take the balls and then go across the street and hop the fence by the high school and play the par three. We would hit on to a real green and then like sometimes we would leave the balls there was a disaster. But like. But yeah, the thing about eyes and hour they would have two greens for a par three and then one of them was always closed for like the whole year. So we always go to the closed one and it had like overgrown grass like they just didn't maintain it. The idea was that.

30:46And I don't think I've ever seen another golf course do this that they were when you when at a public course when you approached the par three you got to choose a twenty one to play and they thought that maybe that would speed up play. Right. So like once everyone got to the sixth hole. You and the group ahead of you would both be able to play the sixth hole. So like it then creates a backup on the next one, but at least you got that whole through with you know what I'm saying. And then I do I've never seen that anywhere else. I never heard that. I did away with that theory and then like one of them just became useless right. We would always use that green anyway. I shot like thirty nine was my average. Yeah, that's pretty great. That's great. Good. Good. Tom Hawkeye Tom. He was all county. I never was all county. Hawkeye Tom. I believe that. How good. You guys at Chico State. How are you guys good? Yeah. We were we were we were really good. We were one of the top division two programs in the nation for all four years that we were there. My senior year.

31:47You know how they do like golf stat weekly rankings or whatever and they just they do they do a ranking for all NCAA teams. So not just division one. And going into the national championship for division two. We were ranked number one for division two for the entire year. And going into the national championship. We were ranked 18th or 19th in the country. Jesus. That's including D1 schools. That was that was the same year that Oregon won the national championship and they were actually ranked 24th. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Even funnier. The we we got the invite to play at Stanford's home tournament and Conrad Ray called our coach and said, Hey, we're actually going to have to not have you guys come to our tournament because if you guys come out and beat a lot of our teams that's going to ruin our ranking.

32:48And we need those rankings in order to get into the super regional. No way. Yeah. Just missed out on a tournament. What? Yeah. That's insanity. Yeah. My senior year we were a powerhouse. We played 14 tournaments. We finished second and seven of them and we won seven of them as a team. Jesus Christ. Is that the plus year for you too? That was the Palmer Cup year for me. Yeah. Doug Kim was on that team. Incredible. I think it's an interesting thing with the visions in college hockey where like there's not a division two or. Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much D3. I when you said that, I my first thought was Guillet bear, you know, the old hockey goalie because he didn't play. He was like one of the few very successful NHL players who did not play D1 college hockey played D3. I think he went to like Hamilton or something like that. Wow. Yeah, they don't. They might have D2, but it's not. It's hard to explain. It's not like D3 is like right behind division one and then D2 is almost like club.

33:54It should feel like it's not 100% not 100% sure. All that feels Canadian like something's wrong there. Yeah. Yeah. Like something's wrong. All right, Alistair. Well, congratulations. Tor bound. The biggest news right now in the world of golf is this live golf bank bankruptcy. It's a that's a wild word and I struggle saying it sometimes. The live golf information where part of filing for bankruptcy is that you have to list.

41:01I believe like your top 30 predators that you owe money to and so people are really digging into that from John Rom and Dustin Johnson and being owed millions of dollars to Rick Shields who is an extremely nice guy. He and his operation are owed $1.4 million from live. I love Rick Shields. He after both of the internet invitations that we have done rights a very sincere note to our entire internet invitations team as a thank you and then he sent me. I'm sure he said everybody else to like a personal notes the last couple of years just about, you know, the work we do and how impressed he is with the event and all that. So incredibly nice guy. But his name was getting a lot of attention as somebody who was owed about $1.4 million from live golf. Interesting spot to be in for a lot of folks involved with live golf. There's a lot of live golf 1.0 versus live golf 2.0 talk and future investment. But you know, peeking under the hood. I guess I would say it's quite interesting gentlemen.

42:03I don't understand bankruptcy. I feel like Steve Carell, Michael Scott saying I declare bankruptcy. I don't understand it. So this is like a good thing for this is a good business move, right? Yes. Yes. The way, you know, the way that I understand it when you declare bankruptcy, you essentially are using the mechanisms of the law to sort of get off the hook immediately and in that moment for owing the creditors that you. And you know, you can essentially use the law and bankruptcy in that situation to try to start from scratch with a new plan to save your operation. Now at some point they will have to pay out these people the money, right? Or because I saw something about bankruptcy court now. So do they go to court and say exactly what are they owed? Like now there's an arbitrator of some sorts that is going in there and coming to a settlement.

43:04I think so. I think that's probably a good part of the way that it'll go. I think too, like I'm not sure how involved the future investor will be right. It's like this BC partners are listed as the lead investor, which like you have to list that going forward. They're potentially going to make like a $300 million investment. So I would imagine. I don't, again, I'm not a damn bankruptcy lawyer. So I don't know. I'm just kind of fired from the hip and I was reading through some articles and such, but I imagine you would have to in terms of like an arbiter and figuring out where and what money is going to go to paying who and who's not going to get paid that like the future investor being these BC partners folks would be heavily involved in those decisions and deciding who to pay and who not to pay. Not paying with the future investment. I really am fascinated by how the PIF just sort of skates on that where it's like they were the ones who signed the whole thing initially and they were the ones who were behind these, you know, ballooned up numbers in terms of what they're going to pay all these different golfers and all these different media outlets like that to me is then I also read that there.

44:20That the PIF is giving live like this. It's called what is it? Dead or financing assist where they basically give 50 million dollars so that live can still run their operations while this bankruptcy thing is going. We really aren't bankruptcy lawyers on this show like I don't know. The bankruptcy lawyer on the show right now. Who is a bankruptcy lawyer in our role of the. That's something I don't I was thinking about that the other day how I wish I knew I wish I had was like close friends with a lawyer and a doctor someone I could just bounce ideas off no one in my circle no one in my friend group from back home we all just sort of became. What we became and none of those things were lawyers or doctors but I don't have anybody in my role of that so I can get on speed dial right now and be like explain this bankruptcy live thing like I'm five years old. You think the internet is a is a pure enough place at all even if it's one percent pure purity left that I can tweet out are there any bankruptcy lawyers that can hop on for play right now that can explain this live thing and we would get an actual person.

45:26Do you think I think we might get like boating make boat faced a little bit with that you know we might get somebody somebody come on. Yeah. Somebody's asshole is going to be out. I tweeted it I tweeted it I want if if someone if someone comes into here and this Riverside and just all we see is their balloon not it was worth it. We're going to be a mission to run some interference on that one. It's a great point about how the p.i.f. is getting off and from the a.i. review from looking up it says that it's insulating itself from the staggering debts of live golf by allowing the league to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. I don't know if kids knows more about this than we do he has to because we don't know anything about it but it says the strategic maneuver allows the p.i.f. which owns 100% of lives equity to legally sever its ongoing financial obligations while leaving the leagues corporate shell to handle over five hundred million dollars in liability so I guess them like allowing them to utilize bankruptcy protection somehow gets them off the hook but I don't really.

46:39What I think I can say with a little bit of confidence and still not a hundred percent is that it means that live 1.0 did not go that well it just didn't go the way that they wanted it to it certainly didn't go the way that the p.i.f. and yasser and they wanted it to go because they bailed on it so now you have to get through all this red tape and this is just the beginning of all these lawsuits and you've got all these other rich guys like John Rom and all the golfers who have lawyers who know they're talking about who are going to try to get every dime that they can't. As they should because they agree to that but it's like as much as they want you to think that like bankruptcy boom your clean now start live 2.0 it's going to be way messier than that and the court the like the legal side of this is really just beginning I would have to imagine. Yeah I think that's exactly right I think the amount that's going to go to lawyers is going to be like equal to the amount of money that's actually paid to people that they owe which is how these things work and get stragged out I imagine a lot of legal minds are pretty excited right now because you get some bill hours coming in hot over the next several months I agree with that conclusion trend that I would say live golf 1.0 it's safe to say that it just wasn't a great idea one staggering number that I saw.

47:56Was somebody tweeted out or maybe there's a line an article I read but I copy past it and put it right here after $5 billion in equity funding and $495 million in debt funding live is down to $15 million in cash on hand. So think about that man they they they had $5 billion in equity funding another almost $500 million in debt funding so just money to handle the debts that they owed and they're sitting on $15 million cash or just not not great you know you went they're down $5.5 billion. $15 million not of it's left there's $15 million left they owe quite frankly I was I think a lot of people are stunned that the numbers weren't bigger that they owed right like they owe John wrong 7.4 million that's a pretty serious number but like not anywhere near the hundred or 200 million people were thinking that they might owe them and I guess what I saw was that like this is somehow separate from them listing.

49:07What they owe for signing bonuses and this is more like week to week kind of payments that they owe so it wasn't including those are some of that nature I gotta get more clarification of that because that's done me I think that was when I biggest take away is like I got you know Lucas Herbert 1.01 million and they owe you know a couple other parties like a little bit over a million dollars and I was like I thought they would owe you know Dustin Johnson 74 million dollars. You know because some of the numbers we were hearing so I'm not exactly sure where that's all ironing out because it feels like they should owe way more to a lot of different people but not a great situation I did see too that the live golf 2.0 right which is supposed to be this if they get this 300 million dollar investment going forward Scotto Neil the CEO did you know do you have to kind of list out what that would look like for bankruptcy protection for all that you have to like list a plan and come up with a future investor which is why they listed the BC partners folks. So live golf live golf 2.0 has about five months to kind of figure out their plan and like get something done based on the protections that they're able to get through this and it says he said we intend to expand our field to 75 players introduce a cut and create additional pathways for players to earn their way into live golf including Monday qualifiers you know so valuable that sounds innovative innovative stuff.

50:33I would also read that the like live 2.0 the new investors that are coming in and this could be true or cannot be true it's just something that I read and all the articles that came out about it is that the investors to get that money it is contingent on them bringing back a certain percentage of the original live 1.0 golfers and the way that they measure that is how much each of those players were individually paid so basically what that is is you have to get it. The big names into live 2.0 for them to then unlock investor money if I read that correctly so it's not like you filed bankruptcy live 1.0 is dead and now it's just champagne roses we get our we get our golf league back and we've got all these big names you have to get those big names back I think or at least some of them for live 2.0 to even get off the ground. I've got some in tonight from a DM from a guy who uses a fake account but he is a law student which is very funny that some of our lawyers out there they're out there just like shit posting on Twitter but this guy says I'm a law student who works in bankruptcy world long story short live has more liabilities and they have assets so they are declaring bankruptcy in order to restructure everything basically now all the creditors get in line to get paid back with those secured creditors getting priority and getting paid first.

51:57It seems as though the players are unsecured so they might actually be getting screwed here and won't get paid out at all. Okay. Wow. That would be yeah. So now they'll be about like what's secure and what's not all right so see my little call to action to the Twitter gave us something but didn't really give us exactly what we need I want to hear from someone. I guess more than nothing picture picture of his balls or anything. That's you. That's good. That's good. Yeah I like this Scott O'Neill guy I'll tell you what he's given up he's putting up more of a fight than I thought like they're really they're live 2.0 which I mean the first name live was 54 holes Roman numeral and then they moved to 72 and now we're out and then we got live 2.0 which rolls off the tongue like like a spike. It's horrible but he's going to keep it going and there's all this talk about team golf again which was the big conversation when live 1.0 started something about player equity and owning.

53:00I don't know it's they're really going to give it a try I think if they can even get out of the courts but to me from the outside of looking and we've been talking about this for years now. It never really came across our desk in a way where it's like this has staying power they want to go all the world they want to play on different continents that seems to be a big part of their plan. I don't know man it's going to be a lot of work for something that I just don't think is going to be that well received. I agree and you know I was trying to comb through a lot of this and think if you are a live golfer like your John Rom or your Dustin Johnson or your Bryson is Shambon do you feel better today than you did yesterday or a couple days ago about where you are at and Roy McElroy he chimed in not necessarily the biggest live golf supporter I would say over the years he chimed in and said I'm not trying to predict the future but I would predict that you will see some. Guys leave as they are free to now I guess contracts have been breached by them for bankruptcy which is a good point because we heard John Rom really sounded like he was being held hostage by his contract for a lot of the year every time it was brought up or he was like I'm just going to let you guys know I'm not an agent I'm not a lawyer I didn't do any of this but from what I'm being told I can't do anything I signed a contract with you with live golf so my ass is just with live golf so whatever happens to live golf I'm with the ship and it is what it is.

54:25Roy made the point of like well now that they are not paying the oh X amount of money and they filed for bankruptcy that would suggest that they have breached the contract which then you can really start to get into like he said she said you sue we sue like you guys broke the contract so why could you do anything or penalize me if you claim that I broke the contract you broke the contract so they get into that and then Roy also continued and said I think that means after tours other tours you can do it. I think that the rest of the tours are going to have decisions to make obviously there's a lot of players on live that can strengthen golf tournaments and make them more competitive so I would see that as a good thing for the DP world tour overall I think the way things are working out it is a very good thing for the golf ecosystem. I thought that was a very telling comment from Rory that his take away from all this is that it's a very good thing for the golf ecosystem and I you know we've already seen quite frankly a little bit of this right we've seen Patrick Reed throughout this year go play on the DP world tour we in a couple of times and he's like earning his way back to the PGA tour we're seeing it this week with several guys playing in the Irish open and so I do think that's good when you kind of see these different names that have largely been just pretty much

55:43hold up on live golf which doesn't get a ton of eyeballs now out in the golf world DP world tour whatever I think that is probably a good thing overall. Yeah I agree with that. I'm deep in the world of talking bankruptcy lawyers right now it's fucking awesome I love I love this this is where the internet's good man we get to reach people that 200 years ago you never be able to reach I got a guy saying that his dad's like the number one bankruptcy lawyer and he's calling him right now see how busy he is. So he could explain this thing to us I just think that'd be so interesting to talk to a guy's dad while we're live talking about this in a podcast I love the internet I really do I think I despise it at times when it makes you want to like you know throw my phone into an ocean but there are times like right now where you can reach like the corners of the earth with just a little a little movement of the the thumbs. It is cool I very much regret that's awesome we had speaking of which we had like I remember some of the fun interviews that we've done we had the pilot from Alaska. He was just in a Mario costume playing in the barstool classic last week in George yeah great to see him out there he was like I hadn't remembered the details but we of course we're like oh yeah we love to have a neon it was great he was like yeah you know it was great right you just like called me fat the whole time.

57:02Well that was an honest that's a that's a good question to ask because I didn't know what he was talking about I had forgotten about I remember we had him on and he was great and it was good to see him he's a really nice guy and then he's a guy bring me fat and I was like how did he go about doing that because I don't think he would just be like you're fat and he's like well Frank asked me how I fit in the cockpit. He was a larger fella he was a larger fella so I I essentially wanted to get down to the nitty gritty on like are there rules for just like how big you can be to be a pilot I mean have you watched those guys get into their seats it's insane. They take one big step through and over to get in you're not flying transatlantic flights you know if you're you got to be able to fit comfortably in there that's you know you have to be like the most fit people in the world to be able to do what they do I don't know maybe pilots have to also yeah he answered he's like he goes I am not too fat. Yeah he and his partner were Mario and Luigi and they were great vibes great hang it was nice he's upgraded now by the way he's at Delta Frank flying for Delta.

58:10Oh good so now we got a guy who shows up to barstool classics wearing Mario Super Mario outfits might be a little bit on the larger side and he's flying us all around the country that's great hammer and sun cruisers just flying. Yeah we got united maybe. We've got we've got a link sent out to a bankruptcy lawyer if he joins he joins we could always put it in when we talked about it before I think it'd be interesting to talk to a guy for a quick second. 59:24We had a great match out there poor Jared just get screwed every time because there's just not that many lefty clubs and you know Frankie's been through that his whole life but it's like I got a million extra wedges I just don't have a million extra lefty wedges so the only thing I had was a 60 degree wedge that was left handed so no matter what the art is was poor Jared just had to use a 60 degree wedge all times he was like you would flush these balls which come up like 44 yard short back well yeah 60 degree wedge I felt for him but I think I'm going to be able to do that. All right, so that that begs my question now. So I'm in I'm in charge of

There's no like home base aside from the Carolina hotel and like Pinellas number two area which pinellas number two is like outrageously expensive and like it's just like a it's a grind of a golf course And you have the cradle there, but like you know I'm saying where's your Where are your thoughts as being a resident on pinellas number two for just like the general playing world when they're booking trips? I completely understand that like it's so much that it's overwhelming type thing and I think you guys would probably

1:01:36agree like I don't know maybe we get different but the number one DM I get from people is Hey, I'm going to this place. What courses should we play and it's either about pineurs or or Scottsdale or Honestly somewhere else it could be like any town that they think we've been to is the number one thing I'm like hey the hey man me and my buddies are me and my my best friend and both of our dads were going to Scottsdale for four days Where should we play we have this amount of money? You know, whatever so it's the number one thing that I get so I get that like when you're the guy That's the architect of a trip which like Frankie you are in yours you look at pineurs You almost don't even know where to start like their website has like just the courses to have on their website now has 12 courses because you got the cradle and all that on there. What do you mean? So I do completely understand that I would say The thing that makes and in my opinion I would say pineurs is is For me like when I get When I get like butterflies about how excited I am for a trip

I don't think bandin has The we call it like the center of the heat map that pineurs has do when you turn that corner with your golf bag And you're either going to play the cradle or put around on the fissile do or go have a drink on the back porch of the Doose right by pineurs number two There is nowhere on earth that has as much action going on right to the golf is that Area and campus at pineurs there's people puttin with beers in their hands There's dozens of group playing the cradle. They're walking barefoot with three clubs There's people playing the championship US Open Course 50 yards away with a train Stuart statue And then right next to that there's also five other golf courses pineurs number four pineurs number one There's pineurs number three and five are right there. So you're just like oh my god There's golf everywhere you like can't help if you like somebody put a golf club in my hands and give you a golf ball

1:03:42And I want to make a five dollar bett against somebody and do it all night like you just you cannot help it And it's got the history. I think the village is so cool and like one of my favorite lines that you know someone from pineurs I want out of my here always says it'll be like what have been hogans say about bandin dunes again because Bandin exists like they don't have the real history and that's one of the main things that pineurs has Having said that like I love pineurs number two. I bought the first home ever bought on the damn golf course I love it. It's a kick in the dick and when you're out there like you just You're walking it's hot for a lot of the year and you usually shoot a million and it's in you shoot a million in a very frustrating way or you don't lose a golf ball you're chipping it across the green you hit a pretty good iron shot It catches the edge and rolls off the green and you're just like what do I gotta do to hit a good golf shot out here? What do I have to do? It's like very frustrating So I think it has so much variety now, which is cool I think number 10 is very playable. I'm hearing number 11. It is core crensholl which they you know are kind of the

1:04:45Bandin they have you know they've got the bandin in the stream song and and the big cedar like they're now adding one a core crensholl golf course Two pineurs would say never had they did redo pineurs number two of folks go look like pineurs number two Used to be pure park land long rough. That's like when painstead won it They got they changed all that went back to the wiregrass and the natural sandy areas So like it's got that aesthetic, but it is hard. There's no doubt about it um The golf at bandin is just so extraordinary that it's in it's almost impossible to compete with man like Half the holes on the whole property are like a hundred feet up on the cliff side and like waves are crashing into the rocks like you're at pebble beach And like and there but they're made for us right? They're like made for us to play golf when you go play at bandin Like I don't know 14 of the 18 holes you can hit the ball anywhere off the team and be completely fine And I think that is so fun It's wind-based the views are insane you pull your phone out like a million times

1:05:47To take pictures. It just like gives you the chills you it's also a part of it is like it's so much harder to get to than pinehurst That it almost feels more special when you're there because of like you know you feel like you actually like Accomplish something and defeated enemies to get there and right You're like oh my god. I made it to Oregon this better be awesome. I better enjoy it I'm enjoying it Whereas like pinehurst one of the perks I think is that it's damnly very accessible from the Northeast like they still have the old school signs on In the Carolina when you walk around from like overnight trip to get to pinehurst So you could like take a train and get from New York to pinehurst while you're sleeping overnight like it's it's accessible It's easy to get there for rally or Charlotte um And it's a benefit but like man it really when you get to Oregon It looks like you're in Ireland or Scotland. It's like another planet and the golf is just so insane all five of those golf courses are absolutely insane and pinehurst has probably Four of them now that are like on that level. I would say pinehurst number two pinehurst number four

1:06:49Pinehurst number eight and pinehurst number 10 are like Elite elite level courses and it's not that the other ones aren't great But like they're a little bit more for I would say like the local community the members right like pinehurst has a ton of members That are there a lot of like retirement community for pinehurst number one and three and five Are a little bit more in that world, but I mean hell Pinehurst number six hosted like The inaugural adaptive opens and they host big tournaments there So there's a lot of variety, but it could be overwhelming. I just think the history How good the golf is as a whole and that heat map of like And the in the logo and the name to be honest with you are a huge part of it like that butter boy logo is so good And the name of pinehurst is like I said this to Tom Pashy once but like you guys ever seen the movie the founder or the with at the very about McDonald's Yeah, and yeah And at the very end in that bathroom scene when they're in there together and he's with like the original McDonald like brother

1:07:49And he's like, you know, you guys always thought it was about this or this but you never got it right He's like, okay, what do you mean? He's like it was always about the name. He's like that name McDonald's You just can't beat it. It's so comfortable and homie and just makes you feel like this is where I want to get my burger made is McDonald's I've said that to Pashy about like dude, you're guys one of your greatest advantages is that name pinehurst is like you almost can't say it without sounding Important and like meaningful in the world of golf pinehurst. It's just like it has that name. That's just different So all that combination I think is what makes pinehurst different where it's like band and able to get away with just Here's the golf and it's fucking insane how good it is in like when we went to Ireland Do like we drove all the way around on a bus for For seven days straight and it's like it's a little bit hard to get from course to course They have like five of them at bandin that are a two-minute shuttle ride away from each other and that's just really hard to beat So that's sort of my I had to go top three as a guy that's been very fortunate to travel to a lot of these places That's sort of that's where I rank them. I guess I would say yeah the cradle. Yeah that whole area is incredible

1:08:53I guess like the other place every place has its own I guess Thing that you go for and pinehurst is the one where you you're okay with like the center of the Fun being with everyone else which which is a good vibe right like you're out there on the cradle You're out there at the doose you're you're hanging out around the carolina hotels I post like a lot of these other ones you're kind of like in your own world You're at like a cabin you're in your backyard you have a fire pit pinehurst doesn't give me that like maybe you do You are rent. I'm not sure like what the stay-in-play packages all are but like I'm sure you're mainly in hotels Or maybe you can get a cottage here and there but it is like you have to know what you're getting into and what kind of what your group is looking for But once you've like accepted the fact that we're basically gonna go all night long not the house not in the backyard We're going all night long with golf and we're out there. We're playing par three and we're drinking amongst all the people We're gonna meet other people from other states and other in other countries That's like yeah like when we go to when we go to pinehurst it really is like a meeting place of the world for golf

1:09:56Yeah, everyone out there on that putting green everyone out there at the cradle It really is it's like it's like a united nations of golf people are just they want to be there It's the center of golf in the in the us. So yeah, it's a good answer. I mean it's It's it's funny. I like don't maybe just because we've been there for so long I never think of it as that but it's you you start to say pine or number 11 It's like my god. How could there be a better resort than a place that has 11 golf courses and it's funny, right like I um You know, I would say like my buddies trip the struggle would I talk to about we got 12 of us total and like my other 11 buddies I would say almost all of them Preferred pinehurst when we go then band it like they get some amazing number One and like we went there a month ago for the first time for about half our group and like the second or third or fourth time for a lot of the other group Just because I have the place there and we're able to go do little trips here and there but like we had to pivot from gamble Sands which I'm wrapping the hat because we have an austro on and specific northwest thing I wanted to show why I'm wearing a red hat and wear red hats that often

1:10:59But like we had to pivot from gamble to To go to pinehurst this year just because the gamble trip was scheduled for we ended up doing the invitationals You know, I was like hey, it's really easy for us to do last minute pinehurst. We're just gonna do pinehurst this year and guys were like I that's the best news. I've ever heard my life where you know, I'm like we're just gonna go do it because it's easy So like guys were like in tears talking about dude. I can't explain to you. I can't believe I'm gonna go to pinehurst I never thought I would get to go to pinehurst. It's true in my whole life Like we have such a history there that it kind of like wears off on a little bit of like yeah Yeah, and look I just left there the smart and like for me when I get there It is like you know, you fly to rally I drive the hour and 10 minutes And then like when I pull down midland road and roll into like pinehurst. I'm just like oh wow I forgot that this is the best place in the world It's just and you know like Ryan rich and and I we did a little tour of pinehurst because we used to go and he was down there for the first time And like even him just like getting a cart ride around he was like I'm a golf nut This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. We're like going out and looking at the Bryson

1:12:03plaque on 18 and and yeah the whole the whole thing like people want to go into the pro shop and buy something because the logo So iconic so like we probably are a little numb to it and yeah, I I guess I would almost say like I tie pinehurst and band in his number Number one, whereas I think pinehurst has more everything with the history and with all the options and bandin's golf is just unbeatable Yeah, it is unbeatable and I have to get huge credit to big seed or dude every time we leave that place, Frankie I feel like we're like Dude this place is Is underrated somehow. It's like it's awesome. How good big cedar is it's insane. It's outrageous. It really is They're all they're all amazing. Yeah, I mean, I can't believe more getting built as we speak like I know the Is it the banding guys the sand Valley guys are doing that rodeo dunes right? Yep rodeo dunes Which I got yourself a bunch of pictures coming out from there that looks insane. There's another spot like wild spring dunes Or something in Texas. I think that's maybe associated with it's such a good name It's really good little horse a little like a cowboy. They got on there. You've seen the logo. Yeah, really good incredible

1:13:09It's actually like I'm amazed that we brought the same thing because I put on my list that I got the email today From band and dunes it said the band and dunes lottery for 2028 bookings is now open and then in their note It said In fact 51,811 Band and Eastas entered our 2027 reservation drawings a number that makes it so overwhelmingly grateful So they're expecting a lot going into this year 50 how many people do you think I'm to playing in a year? God, I how many is that you know that's a good issue Well, that's just around are they? Yeah, they're a year round Wow Yep To a lot of people book a band and trip and like December and go and like I mean think about it when we go when you you know when we went in like August or whatever we went we had really good weather, but it's still like 55 degrees. Yeah, so it's You know, I think like to like 30 and just it's just like always around the same. I think it's always around I think it's like a little colder and like more

1:14:11Unprecedented with the weather, but like it doesn't get down to like the 30s I don't think I think it's Hover's between like 45 and 60 all that I mean that that place, but yeah Thank God the lot they've got a lottery just to book a trip to that place That's that's also dude That's like 52,000 people that are the Frankie of their trip that are submitting that's right so like right that's 51,000 times like eight people is how many people probably average going on abandoned trips You're just looking at yeah, that's it's outrageous how many I don't even know how to do the math like they have five courses How many people do you think play a course a day? Oh couple hundred maybe yeah I was looking at the weather by month up in a abandoned organ it really doesn't get below like 55 like I In terms of each month on average So yeah, you can play there as much as you want you're around A busy 18 whole golf course typically accommodates between 200 and 300 players per day

1:15:12So let's call it 250 times five that's 1200 times 365 right there No way how's that possible hold on now oh four hundred and fifty six thousand players a year I can see that well yeah, yeah, because if you're I hope that's right because like rig said if you're doing And It's times that number that applied by eight and you got a big number If I'm doing that right Right like 51 times eight that's 408,000 there you go Right, that's like every single person's on there has a trip coming yeah Right, there's only one person Looking to get in the lottery for maybe 16 guys Right dude, so if you did that if you did that number and you had you said it averages out to 300 dollars per round per player that would be a hundred and 36 million dollars a year in revenue just on the green speeds

1:16:18They have any logic in play when we we're out here pushing 32 dollar shirts sometime you know, I mean like And we should have built a golf resort we had we're in the golf media. We're in golf. We've been in golf Could have built a ban and dunes Just go build a ban and dude. Let's do it. Yeah, I mean It's you know, it's a lot of money to build golf courses. I would imagine Shit done a shit time. Pops is doing it again. I gotta be honest. I would love to know the history of all these resorts like Right now it's like the golden era of golf resorts, but I would assume it was quite the risk to go out and build a golf resort in the middle of Band-in organ and hope that people were gonna come out there and make it a destination Dude, it's a great story like there are some good videos and documentaries and maybe even like books about it that I've watched and they talk about Like Mike Kaiser and their expectations when they built the first course and open the first course is like They some some quote along lines of like I'm hoping we can do you know

1:17:22A million dollars a year in revenue within the first five years or something and by year five they were doing like $60 million in revenue and they legit were just like worried we don't think anybody's gonna come play this It's just gonna be a really cool course. So we're gonna build and we want to make it and now it's banned it Do it's I mean it's like the it's It's the peak I mean I don't know how you beat it Um, I guess I know how you build a leaven golf course is it pioneers like we're just gonna keep throwing more numbers at you Here's gonna build so many courses you can't help it. Bacheley and it's Sick I mean, it looks like it's a pine Valley really I know I know it's really I haven't seen it since they laid the grass down I think I'm gonna get to do maybe a little preview play this fall I'm extremely excited about that. 1:24:49The only thing else I had on my list Was to talk a little surviving barstable. I've been following Some of the dramas surrounding but I'm behind but I've heard it's been a pretty damn good season and it got very interesting towards the end Yeah, I think some people were saying it was a little boring going towards the end and I think the last couple episodes definitely delivered boring in the sense that it was I guess somewhat predictable because of all the alliances and all the groupings Yeah, just knew there were guys who weren't gonna get certain guys out like the glenny dainna Marty there was there was packs that were made and that is just the game and also

1:25:50I've seen a lot of people make and even Tommy smokes Made a pretty good point about like this is surviving barstable not survivor and if you're gonna continuously do Just barstable employees who have had friendships and relationships for the last 10 years You're gonna find different things and you would in a regular season of survivor Where it's all just different people showing up to an island for the first time and you really don't care about fucking over someone Sure, you're gonna build relationships on the island as the season goes on but like Aaron and Tommy smokes relationship has built since the first day they started working together It's not right just them entering this office So that one I found interesting and then the other one that I kind of just disagree with Tommy on well not disagree with Tommy on it He valued the friendship more than the money and I think this is really fucking him up I've watched a lot of these interviews where he said like he just can't believe that they ended up kind of screwing him over And then I also just see it from a ronestam point where he has two twin baby boys and a wife and a family

1:26:53And he's like I'm gonna try and win this $250,000 no matter which way because it is a game of ruthlessness and Cutthroatness and we're all just trying to win this literally the only reason we're doing is to try and win So for Tommy to like kind of let his guard down in that situation He valued the fact that like Rome would have been mad at him if he did it to him So he didn't you know I mean like that stuff start to bleed in a little bit too much into the game And I just respect Rome for sticking to his guns and being like I'm just gonna win because like this secures a lot of things for my family And I'm very happy I did well that's also with the people who like don't like the alliances going into it You got to then like the stuff that you're getting now with the friendship stuff with Tommy and Rome You're not gonna get that on a regular season of just like survivor. No, I wouldn't think I don't follow it But these guys are friends and there are a lot of people who are friends who are on surviving bar stool So then when you get to the end and somebody does stab somebody in the back the bad blood is incredibly real And like the stuff that they have to see each other every day in the office and you know

1:27:55Rome and Tommy they do shows together They they're in each other's orbit all the time and you get this drama now that the show is finishing up where it's like Yeah, our friendship. I've seen Ron or Tommy say like our friendship is just not the same as it used to be which is incredible drama that you're really not going to get anywhere else It has to be just way harder than it appears as a viewer in In those moments for those three or four days of playing the game because You know, I just uh this happens every time this is season five now this happens every time at the bus where people I can never fathom Holding it personally against someone if they make a play in the game I just can't fathom that it's the game like you did we're all playing The game if you've agreed to play the game then everyone here is going to do what they think they need to do to win The game I would almost view it like if if Frankie and I were playing NHL against each other and Frankie like

1:28:56Keep shot of one of my one of my cheap shot of one of my players I wouldn't be like mad personally at Frankie forever. I'd be like he was playing the game I tried to win the game so I It has to be a million times harder in in that situation than I think it is because I just don't get why People don't shake the hands after they knocked out be like too Shay well played you played the game better than I did You're still my friend. I'm we're great friends. I just I can't grasp that There's something to reality TV that morphs your reality because when I watch shows like the bachelor or the bachelor red And you're like these people have known each other For 11 days how are they this madly love or how are they this mad at this person? I think when you're in such an intense environment it just shifts everything because I I largely agree with you rigs where I'm like I know I feel like I could just shake the hand of someone who stabbed me in the back But I'm not in this situation. So it must be way way harder. Yeah, we're also We're glossing over the fact that The stabbing of the back is a moment where you also like you're trying to win the money and you are yeah you are being led astray

1:30:04In that moment where they're like you're good you like this is how you're gonna get through and you just give Them all of your confidence. They give them all of your loyalty Within the game like we all know we're playing the game and like and you're telling me in a in a closed room This is how to do it and then you go out there and they fuck you over you can definitely take that personally Yeah, maybe like it wears off afterwards, but you're like I wanted to win the money too like why did you use me as a puppet? I would have guessed that is the game also so you should be able to see like through that and everything but It's just also like yeah, I see both sides and it's you know, it's a little embarrassing where you know There are cameras there and they're like trust me. This is how it's gonna go and you're like great That's gonna be amazing. We're friends. Let's get through to the next round or whatever and then they just embarrassed I mean these videos do Tons and tons of views so you're just like well a guy that I really like just made me look like a fool and that sucks ass Yeah, Tommy made a great point. I was listening to him him and Ron were on out and about and I believe is where they were

1:31:09And I was listening to it today and Tommy made the point where he's like I He's like I think what really rattled me was that I thought when I got eliminated It wasn't just that they stabbed me in the back, but that they like chose other friends Above me like they like the other people that they kept were their friends that I thought I was in that position And they all chose each other as friends and I was the only one on the outside and I was like Yeah, in that spot where like that hit home for me. I was like that I could see where it's like he For him in his position. It was like it was Marty and Dana and Gwini and like he's part of that Through there's like a Yankees crew. They do streams together. They're all buddies and they all were like We're gonna still be buddies and win this 250k and that guy's gonna we're gonna kick him off and lie to him that I Could understand great show. I mean this is all the show. So it's like yeah, they're doing a great job. Jeff D. Lo just a great job

1:32:12Host thing. Yeah Yeah, after show was great Kirk Minaham was with had a lot of He was doing a lot of the post shows. It was it was a good season. I think that it really it it it came down It it had yeah, there was there was a there was a lull in the middle where you're just like I know what's gonna happen Yeah, then all the All the idols and Brandon Walker getting kicked out and like everyone else had an idol I don't watch enough survivor to know like how outrageous that is But it does seem pretty outrageous that like everyone that went there to the end had one except for him So it's like why are we even playing the game? Oh, I'm doing an amount once they found him Randall Walker's crash out was iconic. It made me such a big fan of him Yeah, he was just like he was spot on He was really Sherpin all the producers. He was like great game Rob. He's like Sherpin Rob So he did a thing that's not easy to do is he said what we were all what everyone that watched it had this had the complaint and and we all were saying

1:33:13You shouldn't have as many idols. He said that in real time when he saw go down like Dave's gripe with what happened and everyone's gripe with what happened We all wanted to scream at the TV and he did scream within the TV That was really cool. You don't typically see that. Oh, it's incredible foresight Yeah, you never see that ever. He's like, why did everyone have one? This is a stupid game. 1:37:24I had that little situation where I brought I bought shirts From destinations and brought them back to my father and la Don and he wouldn't wear them because he had never been there um But for the first part of the question. I don't think there's any limit to how much you should or can get an In pro shop especially when you go to a destination golf course or top 10 I think actually those are the moments you should spend all of your hard earned money. I'll just say I've been wearing this clean Shinnecock hat for a couple months since we played there and It's just it's relevant right now. I'm just obsessed with this hat right now now great. We'll say I've been having a little bit of I've had an evolution through this sometimes I go nuts with it sometimes I calm down a little bit I'm largely I think in a A one logo Phase I'll I'll try to max out at one logo on any outfit. So like if I'm wearing a This cool Shinnecock hat. I will have a non golf course logo. I go low in that. You know, I'm saying Yes, you can't go to different clubs

1:38:26No, right Keep like a Shinnecock hat in a wing foot shirt. No, there's a phase where I did no doubt about it I think I was when I had I had a pair shorts. I had a belt. I had a fucking polo. I had a hat I was like all kinds of logos all over the place I think I was doing a little bit of a bit just to piss people off for some stretches But there was definitely a time where I would wear like I don't know like when we first do when we first started The podcast especially a ush trend like we are living in New York and I got I remember this string of invites that I got for people to listen It's like I get to go to wing foot for the first time. I get to go to Liberty National for the first time And I'd never been in any places like that and so you might catch me rockin like uh A bayon t-shirt shout-out to frances and like a sleepy hollow hat on the same day I've kind of I've dialed that back like I said. I'm on a single logo spot. Obviously a deed is this different than like a golf club So all our stuff pretty much has the deed is on it But that's largely been my rule as of late. It's just one singular golf course logo and the rest I go pretty like neutral

1:39:28In terms of buying stuff for people If they don't ask you to and they have not played there, I wouldn't do it That's a risk you don't want to take because that yeah, it's very similar to the Franky situation like I Like I've never bought my dad in a gustan ashton like a master's Anything Because I would rather him experience it. I think I'd feel weird giving it to him if he hadn't played there now if your buddy Or not played there been there But if they ask you to get him something then get him something then I think it's fine then it's up to them Then it's their burden when they're out wearing whatever logo it is and someone's like I love that place and then they got to be like I never been there. I'd never played there, but I like the shirt which is kind of weird Yeah, I think there's certain places you got to go experience I mean I did buy my dad and my father-in-law master stuff and then luckily I was able to bring them This year and they got to wear it there which was a yeah like that was special for them like what school They're home. They're in New York. They're packing up their luggage. They have their masters, you know

1:40:29Stuff already and that was that that's a cool thing But like not everyone is able to you know get to every single masters and we have definitely have a very lucky viewpoint on these things and experiences so I would say that yeah I mean you definitely got to ask and if people ask you and you're lucky enough to go to these places then yeah Load up man load up. Oh, it's possible. Can Dude my new thing now. I love getting t-shirts at these places There's always these great t-shirts. They're very minimalistic and I you know Maybe it's because also we wear Barcel golf and the Dita stuff when we play golf all the time like literally every single time we play golf so when I'm out when I want to rock a Repa brand or rep a golf Repa golf course. I like to wear a t-shirt whether it be the dinner or just like whatever walking around the town Like that to me is my coolest thing like a tats and t-shirts with those logos on them That's my number one now. I do like when people get a little crazy like I think uh, there's a bar booty Who bought the carpet from shinnokong for the rug? Yeah the rug banger

1:41:31Things a banger I bought a pillow from shinnokong You see that one that I've posted on my Instagram before it's a Yeah, I'm a pillow man. It's awesome. It's got like the clubhouse on it. Oh Sick and Speaking of good logos, too. This is the scarecrow course at gamble sands. I kind of mentioned earlier, but Really good great logo scarecrow holding a like a windy flag. Yeah, they nailed that logo So some places nail it. That's a big part of it too. You go to a place you would have it's not As elite as other places you've gone to but they got a great logo Go into that pro shop man get that logo all over yourself. I got no issues with that Speaking of our booty is making another long island trip. I think this October Like I got to get them last year. I had that whole debacle Where I tried to set the best long island golf day of all time And it was gonna be national golf links in the morning and shinnokok in the afternoon I was trying to pull it off and national backed out on me like at 11.59 pm the night before And the scramble was immense To try and you know because when you're telling someone they're gonna go play a top five top 10 golf course

1:42:36Yeah, and back to back you're sending them photos He's also like our guy Taylor made a very important relationship for us very very close friend And you know, I'm sending them photos of national videos that we've done there You know the windmill we did we did all the behind the scene stuff and when they were getting ready for the it was behind the greens so I need to like I need to really line up something strong for him this October You know bar when bar booty flies east Everyone starts scrambling Yep bar here. 1:43:38We've got some good options for him out there here, but I got to lock it all in it's hard I mean, this is the top this is what I say about long on golf It's insane that on this island we have the best golf courses in the world It's not as easy to just like lock that stuff up, you know, but no, I'll do I'll work. I'll work on it All right, uh, boys and girls. I think that's all we have Yeah, these lawyers never come through. They're probably they're probably with clients and they're just double charging people just to talk to them I had to come up with a couple of people from tvc Boston reach out to me about the other chairs They sent me one guy even sent me like the unit number. It's from a place Jordan's furniture never heard of that before But he sent me the unit number. They no longer sell the chair. So oh So I mean, I'm just I'm chairless unless I buy one maybe from the tvc Boston clubhouse, but I'm gonna keep my eye out for I have a leather chair, but I could use a better one. I think so I've got my eyes open in my ears peeled for that What's your guy starts in this new iPhone?

1:44:41I just saw it just now it folds right? Yes, call the iPhone duo Hmm I did love I love the era of flip phone I don't know. It's I know it's not exactly a flip phone, but I don't know I gotta take more looks at it initially. I didn't like it the technology is pretty outrageous. I mean For not you know, they've been getting slammed recently for not being an innovative company And I don't know if those are AI clips. I'm seeing or that was an old interview when Zuckerberg went on Rogan But he basically made a claim that apples just stopped innovating and they just keep repurposing the iPhone And it's like going to be the downfall of Apple because they just won't make they won't Put investment into new innovative technology. They just keep saying iPhone 17 18 19 20 and like that's not innovative at all It's just what NHL 27 did and this is it's a disaster I was just gonna say that. Oh, gotta hope that this is this new iPhone is not this new NHL Well, it's completely different and I know like the galaxy's done it before that it's far from the first company to do a foldable phone

1:45:46I don't know why we're going to the foldable phone. I guess it's because content is so mobile now that like getting the biggest screen in your hands while also being mobile Is something that people want. I think for our job and what we do I think the iPhone is perfect for what it is like we need it to kind of be in our back pocket We need a really good phone. We need to be able to post content and just like And message quickly. I think for people that maybe work at desks. This will be a really cool thing I've seen a lot of different variations of how you can do two screens at the same time And you can have it look like a tent where like you have like all of your calendar stuff there And it's like full it's like very visible and there's a lot of things you got to watch the video. It's insane It basically looks pretty region one on the front you open it up the two on the inside open up to a huge iPad size All the technology on the middle There's no crease really which is like innovative that they were able to figure out Like the hinge is like the best hinge that's ever been made to be able to open it and close it. It's really cool Um, but I didn't know if you guys have I usually get up for like the keynotes for yeah apple keynotes

1:46:50Those usually get me going I'm gonna be I'm gonna be trying one of these bad boys one of these foldable phones to you how much two thousand dollars for the cheapest one Look we're in the content business baby at whatever it costs.
