It looks like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Magic the Gathering set is not resonating with fans. A lot of fans saying the artwork is lackluster. Some of them wondering whether or not it's generated with AI. There's a thread out on X, started by Flork, Flork of cows, who says, listen if you're a fan of TMNT, that's great, I hope you enjoy the set. However, this is one of, if not the worst, MTG sets. I have seen in my entire life playing MTG.

Why didn't they do like they did with the Transformers and just add on some cards to do an MTG drop like Brothers War did? Well, profit, infinite money. They're just like throwing everything, but everything, including the kitchen sink I guess, it magic these days is basically the paper version of Fortnite. But yeah, some of this card art's not great. Fox God says almost all the art I've seen from the set looks so bad that I would assume it's AI generated. I cannot even begin to believe in artists touched any of these cards. Yeah, this is something else. People are like, why is there five turtles? It's supposed to be I think it's Genica, the female turtle from IDW. And I think it's because they're cranking out so much content that they're basically just cutting corners as much as they can. But you know, the AI concern is valid because they've been kind of dancing around that issue for the last couple of years now, they keep getting caught using AI art. But again, when you're cranking out 50,000 freaking cards a year, right, what is this one? What are we effing doing? This is so ass. Commanders put, what is this? How does this even work? Come on.
