After completing a music degree, what next? The answer, for composer Ryle Custódio, is law school. It is naturally the next step on the path to becoming a composer who writes music for the cause of the downtrodden. Along the way, Custodio also managed to win first prize in the recent Busan Choral Festival and Competition. On MAESTRO FILIPINO, he joins DZFE’s Daniel to talk about that, his ideas about contemporary music, and the principles that drive his art.
