Buffalo, New York, both teams stopped by the media at Keybank Center on Wednesday morning before heading to practice at the game side. Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey joined players Ryan Conwell, Jawbone Hadley, Isaac McNeely, and Adrian Willey for questions on jumping into March. Madness. The top question went straight to freshman point guard, Mikel Brown Jr.'s availability after a back injury sidelined him. Right before the press conference, Louisville announced, Brown will sit out Thursday's match-up and stay sidelined the rest of the week, even if the Cardinals move on to the round of 32.
