Louisville Stuns Miami in Quad One Win

0:00On March 9th, Louisville grabbed a huge road win over number 22 Miami, beating the Hurricanes 92-89. Four Cardinals scored in double figures, improving their record to 22 wins, and nine losses overall, and 11-7 in the ACC. This marks their first Quad-1A victory of the season, while Miami drops to 24-7-13-5 in conference play. The Cardinals overcame playing without McHale Brown Jr., and facing the ACC's top shooting team on Senior Day. They shot an incredible 61.1% from the floor, and made 12 of 24 from three-point range to outpace Miami's offense. Ryan Conwell led with 24 points, Javon had Lee added 16, and both Isaac McNeely and Adrian Woolly finished with 15 each. Woolly also had six assists, and four rebounds in a standout effort. Miami mounted a late rally, even taking a brief lead with about five minutes left, but Louisville held firm. The Cardinals extended their perfect record to 49 wins, when leading with five minutes to go under Coach Pat Kelsey.
