Story Transcript:

En: Luka arrived at Bled with Maja and Tina on a warm summer morning.

En: The sky was cloudless, and the lake glistened in its emerald beauty.

Sl: Plani so bili jasni: najprej sprehod okoli jezera, nato izlet do otoka s cerkvijo.
En: The plans were clear: first a walk around the lake, then a trip to the island with the church.

Sl: Toda Luka je imel skrito skrb.
En: But Luka had a hidden concern.

En: While his friends admired the view, Luka remembered his forgotten allergy medicine.

Sl: Njegov nos je že rahlo srbel, oči so ga začele peči.
En: His nose was already slightly itchy, and his eyes began to sting.

Sl: Moral je nujno najti lekarno in kupiti zdravilo, preden bi alergija pokvarila njihov dan.
En: He urgently needed to find a pharmacy and buy the medicine before the allergy ruined their day.

Sl: Luka je tuhtal.
En: Luka pondered.

Sl: Imeli so načrt poti, a zdravje je bilo pomembnejše.
En: They had an itinerary, but health was more important.

Sl: Odločil se je poiskati lekarno.
En: He decided to look for a pharmacy.

En: He knew he had to rely on the GPS on his phone, but the signal was unreliable.

En: He pressed the map icon on his phone.

Sl: Usmeritve so bile zmedene, signal šibek.
En: The directions were confusing, and the signal was weak.

En: After a few steps, the navigation let him down.

Sl: Telefon, brez opozorila, se je izpraznil in ugasnil.
En: The phone, without warning, died and shut off.

Sl: Zdaj je Luka ostal brez tehnologije in brez jasne poti.
En: Now Luka was left without technology and without a clear path.

Sl: Ob stalnem srbenju nosu je Luka pogledal okoli sebe.
En: With his nose constantly itching, Luka looked around.

Sl: Moral je premagati svoj strah pred pogovorom v slovenščini.
En: He had to overcome his fear of speaking in Slovenian.

En: The opportunity arose when a young couple walked past him.

Sl: Luka je zbral pogum in ju ogovoril: "Oprostite, kje je najbližja lekarna?
En: Luka gathered the courage and approached them: "Excuse me, where is the nearest pharmacy?"

Sl: "Par se je prijazno nasmehnil.
En: The couple smiled kindly.

En: "Follow the path along the shore; the pharmacy is on the main road near the bus stop," the guy replied.

Sl: Luka je bil hvaležen in se jima prikupno nasmehnil.
En: Luka was grateful and gave them a charming smile.

Sl: Po nekajminutni hoji je Luka našel majhno lekarno.
En: After a few minutes of walking, Luka found a small pharmacy.

Sl: Kupil je svoje zdravilo, olajšan, in se napotil nazaj k Maji in Tini.
En: He bought his medicine, relieved, and headed back to Maja and Tina.

En: When he reached the lake, Maja and Tina were enjoying the view of the island church.

Sl: Luka jima je povedal o svojem dogodivščini.
En: Luka told them about his adventure.

Sl: Nasmehnili sta se.
En: They smiled.

Sl: Bravo, Luka, so mu rekle, dokazal je svoje sposobnosti.
En: Bravo, Luka, they said; he had proven his abilities.

En: With the lake and friends beside him, Luka felt how each moment of the journey could be unpredictable, yet also precious.

En: He learned something important: not everything in life goes as planned.

Sl: In to je čarobno.
En: And that's magical.
