Story Transcript:

Ja: 嵐山竹林には様々な音があります。
En: There are various sounds in the Arashiyama bamboo grove.

Ja: 竹が揺れる音、鳥のさえずり、そして今日は雨の音も。
En: The sound of the swaying bamboo, the chirping of birds, and today, the sound of rain as well.

Ja: アイコとケンタは道に迷っています。
En: Aiko and Kenta are lost.

Ja: 竹が高く、視界が悪いです。
En: The bamboo is tall, and visibility is poor.

Ja: それに夏の雨が急に降り始めました。
En: Besides that, summer rain began to suddenly fall.

Ja: 「アイコ、大丈夫？
En: "Aiko, are you okay?"

Ja: 」ケンタは心配そうに尋ねます。
En: Kenta asks worriedly.

Ja: アイコは笑顔で答えます。
En: Aiko replies with a smile.

Ja: 「平気よ、ケンタ。
En: "I'm fine, Kenta.

Ja: これも冒険の一部よ。
En: This is part of the adventure."

Ja: 」しかし、ケンタの心は落ち着きません。

En: Aiko lets out a small sigh and says, "There might be a shortcut over there," pointing through the bamboo.

Ja: ケンタは反対します。
En: Kenta disagrees.

Ja: 「危ないよ。
En: "It's dangerous.

Ja: 元の道に戻りたい。
En: I want to return to the original path."

Ja: 」アイコは躊躇なくその方向へ進みました。
En: Without hesitation, Aiko headed in that direction.

Ja: ケンタはため息をついて、彼女の後を追います。
En: Kenta sighed and followed her.

Ja: 雨が激しくなり、地面は滑りやすくなってきました。
En: The rain became heavier, and the ground became slippery.

Ja: 突然、アイコの足が滑りました。
En: Suddenly, Aiko's foot slipped.

Ja: 「キャー！
En: She cried out, "Kyah!"

Ja: 」と叫んで地面に倒れました。
En: and fell to the ground.

Ja: ケンタは急いで駆け寄ります。
En: Kenta rushed over.

Ja: 「大丈夫、アイコ？
En: "Are you okay, Aiko?"

Ja: 」ケンタの手は震えていました。
En: His hand was trembling.

Ja: 「こんなところで怪我されたら…。
En: "If you got hurt in a place like this..." Aiko momentarily had tears in her eyes but bravely said, "I'm fine."

Ja: 」アイコは一瞬涙を浮かべますが、「平気よ」と強がります。
En: Even so, her heart was wavering.

Ja: それでも、彼女の心は揺れ動いていました。
En: Kenta made a decision.

Ja: ケンタは決断しました。
En: "Leave it to me, Aiko.

Ja: 「僕に任せて、アイコ。
En: I'll find the way."

Ja: 道を探すよ。
En: He started to walk carefully, but with confidence.

Ja: 」彼は慎重に、でも自信を持って歩き始めます。
En: Aiko watched him with eyes filled with surprise and respect.

Ja: アイコはそんなケンタを見て、驚きと尊敬の混じった目で見つめました。
En: The two began to slowly make their way back, switching roles along the way.

Ja: 二人は互いに役割を変えながら、少しずつ戻り始めます。
En: The rain weakened, and the color of the sky began to change.

Ja: 雨が弱まり、空の色が少しずつ変わってきました。
En: Finally, they reached the exit of the bamboo grove.
