He: הבית הגדול היה מלא באור ואנשים בפסח הזה.
En: The large house was filled with light and people this Passover.
He: נועה עמדה במרכז הסלון, מתבוננת סביב.
En: Noa stood in the center of the living room, looking around.
He: ריח המרק עם כדורי המצה מילא את האוויר, ושיחות קרובות ורחוקות נשמעו בכל חדר.
En: The smell of soup with matzo balls filled the air, and nearby and distant conversations could be heard in every room.
He: זה היה פסח מיוחד, מלא בחיים ואנשים שנועם לא ראתה זמן רב.
En: It was a special Passover, full of life and people that Noam hadn't seen in a long time.
He: אבל משהו היה חסר.
En: But something was missing.
He: צלחת הסדר, שעברה במשפחה דורות רבים, נעלמה.
En: The seder plate, which had been in the family for generations, had disappeared.
He: היא הייתה חלק בלתי נפרד מהחג - כסף מבריק, מלאך על השולחן.
En: It was an inseparable part of the holiday - shining silver, an angel on the table.
He: נועה ידעה שהיא חייבת למצוא אותה לפני שהארוחה תתחיל.
En: Noa knew she had to find it before the meal began.
He: "אבי," קראה נועה, פונה אל בן הדוד שלה.
En: "Avi," called Noa, turning to her cousin.
He: "אנחנו חייבים למצוא את הצלחת הזאת.
En: "We have to find that plate.
He: אתה תבוא איתי?
En: Will you come with me?"
He: "אבי עצר לרגע, מהרהר.
En: Avi paused for a moment, pondering.
He: הוא אהב את המסורת, אבל היה ספקן.
En: He loved the tradition, but he was skeptical.
He: "לָמָה את תמיד חושבת שיש תעלומה?
En: "Why do you always think there's a mystery?"
He: " הוא צחק, אבל בכל זאת נענה לבקשתה.
En: he laughed, but nonetheless agreed to her request.
He: "הי, זו המשפחה שלנו.
En: "Hey, it's our family.
He: חייבים לשמור עליה," אמרה נועה בביטחון.
En: We have to protect it," Noa said confidently.
He: "בוא נתחיל לחקור.
En: "Let's start investigating."
He: "השניים פנו תחילה אל חדר האוכל, המקום האחרון בו הצלחת נראתה.
En: The two first turned to the dining room, the last place the plate was seen.
He: הם חיפשו תחת השולחן, בין הכיסאות, ולבסוף פנו לארון הישן שעמד בקצה החדר.
En: They searched under the table, between the chairs, and finally turned to the old cupboard standing at the end of the room.
He: "מה זה?
En: "What’s this?"
He: " שאל אבי, מתבונן מקרוב.
En: Avi asked, looking closely.
He: בתחתית הארון נמצאה דלת קטנה שאף אחד לא הבחין בה עד כה.
En: At the bottom of the cupboard, a small door was found that no one had noticed until now.
He: היא הייתה כמעט מוסתרת מאחורי הצלחות והשולחנות.
En: It was almost hidden behind the plates and tables.
He: נועה פתחה את הדלת בזהירות, ובפנים, נתגלתה הצלחת.
En: Noa carefully opened the door, and inside, the plate was revealed.
He: "הצלחנו!
En: "We did it!"
He: " קראה נועה, עיניה מבריקות מההתרגשות.
En: exclaimed Noa, her eyes shining with excitement.
He: "הצלחת פה!
En: "The plate's here!
He: היא נפלה פנימה בטעות.
En: It fell in by accident."
He: "בחיוך, נועה ואבי יצאו אל המסדרון, כאשר מהשמש התחילה לשקוע.
En: Smiling, Noa and Avi went out to the hallway as the sun began to set.
He: הצלחת הונחה במקומה הראוי על השולחן, ומשפחתם התאספה סביב, שמחה להתחיל את סדר פסח.
En: The plate was placed in its rightful spot on the table, and their family gathered around, happy to begin the Passover seder.
He: בזמן שהטקסטים העתיקים נקראו, נועה הבינה: הסבלנות והצורך לשתף אחרים בפתרון הם הערכים האמיתיים שעליהם גדלה.
En: As the ancient texts were read, Noa understood: Patience and the need to share with others in solving problems are the true values on which she was raised.
He: הפעם, ערב החג היה מיוחד אפילו יותר.
En: This time, the holiday evening was even more special.
