Los Angeles' New Requirements for CCP 170.6 Peremptory Challenges

Judge Lawrence Riff, Supervising Judge of the Civil Division of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, will provide an overview of the Court’s new General Order concerning new requirements for CCP 170.6 challenges, the Court’s new XLIT 035 form, the J.O. v. Superior Court of San Joaquin County California Supreme Court opinion permitting judicial inquiry into possible bad-faith blanket challenges, and will answer FAQs.
