Lorry Overturn Spills Pallets on A52 in Lincolnshire

The incident shut down the highway in both directions between the A1, at Barrowby, and the A-46 at Saxondale. High winds knocked the heavy goods vehicle off the road near Grantham, just after 3pm on March 12th. Lincolnshire Police and National Highway's traffic officers rushed in to manage the mess and keep things safe. No injuries were reported, which was a huge relief. Drivers dealt with long delays, and officials urged everyone to pick alternate routes since signed diversions weren't available. Recovery dragged on because the truck ended up in a ditch, and weather stayed rough, but crews pushed through. By 8pm, the road was fully back open, getting traffic moving smoothly once more.
