And hi, it's Rich and greetings from my senior citizen department as we encourage each other to look to Jesus on this podcast. Let's do that right now. Let's look to him. Okay. He's with us in our presence and thank God. It's a blessing to be a follower of the Lord and to have fellowship with God. And I've got a great word for us about the peace of God. I want the peace of God this hour. How about you? Well, it says here in Philippians 4.6, being not anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And Philippians 4.7 says, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4.7, so by praying and looking to the Lord, we experience the peace of God. And how else can we experience the peace of God? In Philippians 4.9, what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things and the God of peace will be with you, Philippians 4.9.
That's solid advice right there. And what did Paul do? He was sold out for Jesus, wasn't he? And he gives us a great example of how to live for the Lord. And of course, if we follow the teachings of our Lord and what he gave to the apostles, then we'll be in good shape and we'll experience his peace. And then I'd like Isaiah 26-3-2, you keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you. And another one, Galatians 3-15, let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful in Galatians 3-15. I want the peace of God. I want the peace of Christ ruling in my heart this hour, how about you? Then let's look to the Lord and let's seek him out in prayer. And let's be thankful, okay? I hope you sense the presence of the Lord right now. What a blessing it is to walk with God, the God of Israel. Well, that's it. I shall visit with you on the next podcast.
