And I, as rich and greetings from the farmland of Missouri, let's look to Jesus, let's encourage each other to have faith in Him and to follow Him, live as a servant of Christ. And if there is a good word for you and me, from the Lord in Revelation 16-15, behold, I am coming as a thief, blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Revelation 16-15. So he's coming as a thief, and let's be watching for his return. Let's stay awake and live a life of alertness and serving the Lord. Let's encourage each other to do that, okay? We're told by Brother Peter in First Peter 4-7, thinking about this, that the end of all things is at hand, therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things, have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins, First Peter 4-7. And in 1 Thessalonians 5-6, the Apostle Paul says, therefore, let us not sleep, as others do, let us watch and be sober for those who sleep at night and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. Our Lord Jesus tells us in Matthew 24-42, watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready for the son of man is coming at an hour, you do not expect. That's Matthew 24 and 42. So thank God for this reminder here today. So let's ever be looking to the Lord, and that's what I wanted to share with you. I'll visit with you next time.
