0:00And I, it's rich and greetings from the farmland of Missouri as we encourage each other to look to Jesus and to follow him. And there's a great word for us here from Brother Paul in Romans 12 and verse 1. I beseech you, therefore brethren, by the mercies of God that you've resent your body, so living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12, 1 and 2, not conformed to this world, but be renewed in your mind. How does that happen by spending time with Jesus listening to his teachings, listening to his apostles as they explain things in the Bible that he gave them by the Holy Spirit? Read all about it in the New Testament, but be conformed to this world. No, do not be conformed to this world.

1:00And we have a work cut out for us and by the grace of God will learn to do this. There is a appetite in the world for the need to be entertained, whether it be with games or whether it be with ocean pictures or with television or whatever. And the problem is that so much of the entertainment is anti-Christ. It's anti-God. They use his name like a swear word and they do not honor the Lord. They make very exciting story lines and great visual effects, but it has absolutely no bearing on renewing the mind as a matter of fact. It just gets our mind thinking about other things that our flesh loves to think about and we shouldn't be going there at all. So let's be praying and asking the Holy Spirit. Let's be praying individually here that the Lord would show us what we need to do in our life to make our lives an acceptable living sacrifice and how not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
