Today’s affirmation “Look Like Love and Sound Like Love” was deeply inspired by a quote from Bob Goff devotional:
“Find friends who sound like Jesus and put them on repeat in our lives.”
As well as Biblical scripture:
Colossians 4:6 NIV Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
The old Testament stuff has passed away. That is history. That is biblical history. It is not how we live today. We do not conquer people. We do not conquer things. We love each other. That's it. That's the whole thing in a nutshell. And if you can get that, if I can get that, then all the other things will be added unto it. That is the way of peace, it's the way of joy. It's the way of love as I understand it.
