After 27 days at Stamford Superior Court, with attorneys introducing more than 200 exhibits of evidence and calling dozens of witnesses, Troconis stood before the judge and answered his questions in Spanish with an English interpreter as she informed the court that she would not testify. “Did you have an opportunity to talk with your lawyers about whether or not it is in your best legal interest not to testify?” asked Judge Kevin A.
