Littleborough's Old School Becomes Family Hub

This spot on Calderburg Road will serve as a go-to place for families, offering health checks, youth programs, and community activities for kids and parents alike. The hub already runs services from a temporary spot at the local leisure center, but this upgrade will bring everything under one roof. It includes a new youth zone with cooking spaces, media rooms, games areas, and spots for sports and performances plus early childcare for kids from 6 weeks up to 5 years old. The two-story infant block sat empty after Littleboro Community Primary School shifted to a nearby site in 2023. Now it's being transformed with consultation rooms for midwife visits, health checks, eye-enhearing tests, a sensory room, accessible changing, areas, and outdoor play spaces.
