About this episode
Ben, Travis, and Will welcome in John Williams from Life that Counts for a second episode. John worked in Student Ministry for years and now helps operate Life that Counts, a non-profit group that works with schools in building mentorship programs in an effort to make schools a safer place. John had a personal experience where a friend brought a gun into his school. That memory drives him to make a better world for our kids. You can hear the full story of that encounter on his TED talk included in the links.
Due to the nature of their work they encounter all sorts of subjects with kids from suicide to sexual struggles. Please be aware that these subjects are mentioned as some parents may find the topics uncomfortable for their younger children to hear.
