Liberal bill to expand citizenship makes its way through Parliament

The number of foreigners in Canada’s prisons has surged by over 30 per cent since the Liberals came into office, and Ottawa claims to have lost track of over a third of their citizenship information. A chain migration bill is going into its third reading in the House of Commons after Conservative and Bloc Québécois amendments were revoked.
