Lib Dems Vow No Reform UK Coalition, Push for Birmingham Renaissance

0:00On April 10th, Birmingham City Council's local elections are heating up on May 7th, with all 101 seats on the line. The Liberal Democrats aren't closing the door on joining a coalition to run the council, but they're drawing a hard line. No deals with her form UK. Sir Ed Davy, the party's national leader, made that clear during his campaign launch in the city today. Davy took aim at Labour's grip on power, calling out their failure to handle basic services amid the council's money woes and a nasty bend strike. He also slammed reforms to bicep tactics, positioning Lib Dems as the real alternative to boot Labour out and keep reform at bay. Local Lib Dem boss Roger Harmer predicts a hung council, with Labour set for a rough ride. Voters will decide the math, he says, and the party will work with whatever comes to build a stable setup that delivers.
