Lexington Native Jerone Morton Joins Kentucky Wildcats

0:00On May 2nd, Jerome Morton, a Lexington native, just committed to the Kentucky Wildcats after transferring from Washington State. Four years back, he led his high school team at George Rogers Clark to the 2022 K-H-S-A-Sweet 16 title and Snag Tournament. MVP honors right there in Rep Arena. His journey took a unique path, starting with two seasons at Moorhead State, then a year at Washington State, before landing back home as a Wildcat in. His fourth college season, growing up in Lexington, more than always dreamed of suiting up for Kentucky, the winningest program in college hoop history, watching pros roll through, town and imagining himself in those shoes. Now, it's reality. With family thrilled and him locked in on the grind ahead, ready to contribute in the same arena where he cut down the nets in high, school. This homecoming sets up epic nights at Rep, blending his local roots with big time ball, and it's got everyone buzzing about what he brings to the cats next season.
