Let's Talk About the New Spokane Leather
About this episode
Spokane is a new Horween leather that seamlessly blends traditional formulas with modern technology to create a material that is both durable and aesthetically appealing. Spokane takes the base tannage of the ChromePak article and introduces a modern vegetable re-tannage, enhancing its comfort and ability to age beautifully. Following the re-tannage, the leather is hot-stuffed with a proprietary blend of oils and waxes, resulting in a rich, supple feel and deep, vibrant color. As a full-grain, aniline leather, Spokane is incredibly tough, ensuring footwear made from it will not only withstand the test of time but also look better with every passing year.
