Leigh Hart (NZ TV royalty- his most raw & vulnerable interview ever)

About this episode

If you say you don't know who Leigh Hart is, I'd probably raise an eye brow.

He has been part of the New Zealand comedy and TV landscape for two decades now.

He is also the face of Hellers sausages, the creator of Wakachangi beer and, more recently, the insanely good Snackachangi chips THE best Salt n Vinegar chips in the world).

BUT whether you know him or not, I think you’ll be a fan of Leigh after this. It’s a fascinating insight into the mind of a creative genius.

We get real deep and talk about his childhood which included a whole year without seeing his parents.

His entire TV career and which of his old work he regrets now, and how the famous snackachngi chips came about.

Lee also reflects on his marriage breakup, the resilience needed to get through it, and how he has become more emotionally vulnerable with age. This was my favourite part of the conversation. His honestly and vulnerability was profound.

Thanks to my friends at Radix Nutrition for sponsoring this episode. I am a daily user of their protein powder. Start every day with a shake for breakfast. Their banana flavor is incredible. They are much more than amazing and delicious protein powder though. You can go to Radix.co.nz to see their whole incredible range of world class products made in the Waikato and shipped to wherever you are on earth.
