On Thursday night in Denver, the 41-year-old Lakers star nailed a 12-foot jumper early in the first quarter against the Nuggets. That shot gave him 15,838 field goals, one more than Abdul-Jabbar's final total of 15,800. 37 from his 20-season career. James entered the game with more field goal attempts than anyone, at 31,274, including over 7,053 pointers.
