About this episode
“Six months down the line, I had a meeting with my agent and they said ‘Noone really wants to pursue you guys anymore, I think they want to wait for the next year’s to come along.’ And that hurt.”
After winning the second series of Love Island in 2016, where he met his partner Cara, Nathan Massey was catapulted into a life of fame and fortune, but he quickly realised that it wasn’t going to last. Nathan and Scott both express their appreciation for the opportunities the show provided them, but address the challenge of processing their fleeting moment in the spotlight and the lack of support they received after leaving the villa.
Nathan talks about how his wife and son have kept him on the right path and why family life has taught him the dangers of continually comparing yourself to others. The boys are joined by Cara who highlights the adjustments in their mentality and behaviour that they have both made in order to live healthier, happier lives.
