We're almost to the point where we get to get the sunlight back for a while, late this week. Yeah, well, o'clock's changed this weekend, right? Yep. And we lose an hour, unfortunately. I'll take that to get sun. I need longer sunlight. It's six o'clock. I'm looking at my window. Sun's kind of setting. You know, we're getting there, but none of us. It's like I live in the darkness anyways. Right. Yeah, anyways, the we are one week away.

4:11Brother from legal tampering. We're there. We're on the cusp. And there's a whole bunch of roster tampering going on right now, which is what I think we should start with like a little rapid fire. Here's what happened across the league today. And then I promise you, we will get into the into the weeds about Titus Howard as well. So let's start with today's NFL transactions and some quick thoughts on each. All right, let's start with David Montgomery getting traded to the Texans. The Texans did deals with the Browns today. They also acquire David Montgomery from the Lions and interesting to hear Gibbs on his own. Yeah, Gibbs, I wonder if they draft one now. I'm not sure what route they go. So you're going to have Nick Chubb now out of Houston. We'll see where he goes. David Montgomery steps in. Woody Marx also a player. I liked Woody Marx's first year. This is an interesting dynamic in that backfield now. Two players kind of similar and some fashion there.

5:16Yeah, that's it. Listen, they wanted Joe Mixon to be the guy. He couldn't. They had the weird thing happen with this foot, I think, or whatever. So it's not surprising. I thought giving up a fourth or seventh and a damning depth offensive line. Would you scrub not anything to write home about? But just nonetheless, you're giving up a player with two picks for a running back. It's a little surprising. But I, you know, ultimately, like, who's going to we're going to talk about this with the time? It's our thing. Like, what's their offensive line going to look like? So yeah, I think the decision is going on around Houston. I've poked around some of the people who cover that team. You know, some confusion about where they're going with Nicasario. We'll see. I don't know, Brad. That's fair. I'm a little confused myself. But yeah, I mean, I guess my whole thing would be like, is it, was that really necessary with Woody Marks there? Like, is kind of the guy that I would have made the feature back? Right. I don't know if it's necessary to go get a

6:20David Montgomery, I guess, especially for what it costs. And then, you know, because I think you can find these guys just about anywhere if the offense is right. I don't know. How do you think David Montgomery is off hand? He's got to be over 30, right? He is not. He is 29. So he's close. But he's 29. Has two years really on this deal. So it's, it's two years 18 and a quarter is what the extension he signed in October of 24. The deal included some, I can't pretend to know how much then Houston takes on. But I think a fourth round pick, man, I'm always like, can I get a, kind of back in the fourth round that I get a cheap contract on? I don't know, I don't know. I mean, they want to make a run at it. They got some bigger decisions to make. They obviously made one today. But I think giving up two picks for running back is always a little bit interesting.

7:21I don't know that I would have loved that as a Texans fan. But he's a good football player. He can still play. So, oh, yeah, he, yeah. He's tough to deal with. He's a, a good, he was an ideal compliment to Jameer Gibbs. They had it going with the sonnacle knuckles. Yeah, who are now divorced. So you see Gibbs posted a photo of Sonic and Knuckles crying. Yeah, that's, that's tough. They got to add something. I mean, I don't, I don't pretend to know. We can look at that on the fly here, um, who's on their depth chart. But they're, they're definitely a primary running back draft. Like one of their day two picks, maybe early day three. The running back depth chart is now, uh, Jameer Gibbs and then Jacob sailors. Cione Vocky and, and Kai Robachau. Robachau? Yeah. So they're going to draft a guy or sign. They're going to be players at that position. So, um, there we go. There was another, uh, decision that was made there. I think they lost their longtime center, right?

8:22Or cut him today. Oh, yeah, that's my fault. Detroit, uh, also letting Graham Glasgow long time center released 33 and a half. It's going to be 34 right before the season. Yeah, I don't, I don't think he retire. He's been there a long time, man. Um, well, actually, I take that back. He was there his first four years. Third round pick, pick 95 was there four years. Then went to Denver for three and then came back to Detroit for three more. So he's been around the league since 2016. I would have thought there's some of these guys that get drafted and have some success at the center position who I just like lose track of what draft class they're in. Like I could have guessed. Glasgow was in the 2019 class, right? Like we're going to talk about Titus Howard and a little bit with the Browns. And I was like, oh, God, he was a 19 guy. I thought he was younger, uh, a little bit younger than that. But I also think Titus Howard was drafted a little older, uh, if I recall correctly. So we'll get to that.

9:22But anyway, yeah, I mean, there's some turnover there. Juice Scruggs, I think is who they got in the Montgomery trade. Yep. So juice Scruggs now maybe steps in and play center for them. I have not kept up with the success of the Penn State product. He has played and 24. He played a lot of snaps. And um, most were at center. He only played 261 last year. Was he injured or not? I don't know. Looks like he played early in the year through week 10. And then did not see a ton of reps. Couple snaps in the indie playoff, uh, or sorry, week 18 game with indie. But yeah, I don't know. I don't know if he's going to be their step in player. Maybe they have a different answer. Alliance will. But yeah, that's, uh, it's an interesting option. Yeah, sure does. All right, uh, moving on to the next one, Dalton Rizner. So one of those free agent guards out there that we kind of even mentioned is re-upping with, uh, since then he for a one year extension.

10:23Good deal for the Bengals. We had a nice year, man. I thought he stepped in and was relatively solid quickly for them in week one against the Browns. He missed, uh, missed a couple games in the middle of the year. But he played good football, man, uh, pretty good grading across the board. And I guess I can't pretend to have watched him all season or anything. But I thought he, from Bengals people, I kind of sighed. What they think and they think it's a good, uh, it's a good one year extension. He'll be 31 almost identical birthday to Graham Glasgow, right? There before July 13th is, um, his birthday. So yeah, I mean, I think the Bengals, if I, uh, remember correctly, the Bengals are going to bring back their five offensive lineman starter group for the first time in Joe boroughs tenure. Yeah, if I saw that correctly, which, you know, how good is this offensive line? I mean, that's up for interpretation. But, um, yeah, they bring back Orlando Brown, Fairchild, who they drafted last year in the third round. Ted Carus, the center, um, don't prisoner resigns. And then you have a Marius Mims at right tackle.

11:24So at least some continuity there for them. Yeah, I was just going to say there's something to be said for continuity sake. Um, but, uh, they, I wouldn't say that they are, they've solved their offensive line. Although they are going to run it back. Yeah, I think they're focusing a lot of their energy on fixing defensive issues, focusing, um, from what I've seen, like a lot of Caleb Downs connections, a lot of defensive line selections there at 10 that make sense for them. So I do think they're going to channel some energy in that direction. And then probably look at some, some players to maybe replace an older Ted Carus and then prisoner types in the middle rounds with some of those, uh, interior offensive lineman. Yeah, absolutely, uh, all right. Let's go into some release to players today. Um, of interest, some of these guys, I mean, just to in general, the NFL, some big names. Uh, so Kansas City is releasing, uh, Joanne Taylor. Yeah, listen, that gets a head start on free agency.

12:24I sell someone crack the joke that he's been getting a head start on every play for the last two years with his kickstep, but it's true. You know, he's an interesting comparison, Brad, to what is going to happen with Titus Howard? He signed a similar nature deal. The, this is where I talked with Corey on yesterday's podcast about, like, the Browns picking a guy at the tackle position, a kind of like 3970, who you now are not necessarily forced into playing early, but can be that sort of like Aussie, Trapilo type or the Bears that tackle, where you take him in that sort of range in between that range. And you then have an opportunity to let that guy come along and play. And the good thing about Titus Howard is he can obviously play a little bit of guard too. So if you did get that opportunity to like, you know, we're going to put pressure on the sixth pick or the 24th pick, that guy's probably going to play a tackle this year. But ultimately, like, can we bring along another one a bit slower?

13:28That's where I'm interested. Now, Joanne Taylor, he's fine, right? Like, he's pretty good. I mean, he's, yeah, his past blocking is better, certainly better than his run block. And that happens with a lot of guys who are, you know, he's only 28, thankfully, for his situation. That's still, that's still football young. But a lot of these guys sort of get a little worse and run blocking as you get a little older into the league, because it's like, that's the really physical stuff that you got to move people or run a lot versus in your kickstep and past protection where the football kind of can get out and help you because it's out of the quarterback's hands quickly. He only gave up 20 pressures last year across 517 snaps. Listen, I think someone's going to give him some sort of two-year deal that's going to be more than the Browns would be interested in giving anybody at this point. So I don't know, the Browns are not interested, but he will be an interesting tackle option for somebody. Let's say that. Yeah, I would agree. Yeah, hadn't missed any time, Brad. He missed, I think he missed a little time this year somewhere, because he only played 760

14:32snaps. We might have missed a few games, but like, man, he's north of a thousand snaps every year of his career, his first foreign Jacksonville, and then 23 and 24. So yeah, he played a lot of ball. Yes. Now you have Minnesota, and I don't know what's going on there. Are they still operating without a GM? I saw on our Founders Chat. I don't know. That Chad GBT is running their team right now. I don't know. That's a good question. I've not studied it enough, but I don't think they formally hired anyone. Yeah. Either way, they have released Aaron Jones and Javon Hargrave today to become Cap compliant, I believe. So Rob is there guy handling. I believe in the organization since 99. I guess he's, I don't know, there's the answer. Accordingly, I don't know that I have any interest in either of those guys. I don't think so. Me neither. But Aaron Jones,

15:37Aaron Jones is a better player. He has some good football in him. Aaron Jones now third down back. 31. Yeah. I mean, you can, you can do worse. You can do worse. I mean, he certainly had his worst productions. He didn't play a ton last year compared to other years. So you know, there's, there's a little bit of that. But you know, I think he's probably got another one year somewhere. Would you tell me would you rather have Aaron Jones for a year or David Montgomery for two? I don't know. It's just it's at least something you shrug your shoulders about. So yeah. 548 yards last year. 4.2 a carry. Don't find work somewhere. Yeah. I'll catch on. Be part of a committee likely. All right. Hargrave, how old he's got to be up there? You saw. Yeah. He was, he was, this is like challenging the late, uh,

16:39defensive tackles coming on in their 30s. He's 33 right now. He just turned that earlier in February. So yeah. I mean, his, I don't know. I mean, last year, he was hurt in 24. Can I remember what exactly the second year in San Francisco injury was for him. But the three years leading up to that, he was a 60 plus pressures guy. I had a 10 sack, 12 sack, 8 sack season, got a nice contract. Sam Fran, second year in that contract, 24 gets hurt. Did you get traded to Minnesota? I think you got traded there. Yeah. Um, 31 pressures, four sacks. Probably similar pass, like he only rushed 295 times. And he got, did he get traded there in season? Yeah. I think you got traded there in season. He's a rotation. He's a rotational guy. Yeah. At this point, I don't think, you know, it's not, he's a one year guy at this point. He's 33 and still can pass. I should,

17:43I mean, there's probably good value for somebody. If you get him, yeah, at this point for a cheaper number, um, I mean, I could be interested if the number was right. But I do think somebody out there needing desperately needing past rush on the interior will give him a little bit more of a one year deal. He had a torn triceps that happened in 24. So he's kind of coming back from that in 25. Yeah. He's kind of my, you know, when I talk about guys coming into their own in the late 20s, early 30. He's one of those guys, right? Like, you know, that just figures it out later as a defensive tackle. It seems to be a play a few guys that do that. Anyways, onto the commanders making a release, uh, Latamore, Martian Latamore has been released. Probably are their best corner? Yeah. I don't, I mean, yeah. I can't say I know. I mean, they,

18:46they had Forbes. They drafted and then they let him go. Yeah. He was a disappointment there. And he's, he's been better at it in next time. I don't know. Yeah. Let's look at real quick at their corners or Mike Sanders still. Who I like, who's an inside got Noah, Noah Igobani, um, uh, boy, Trey Amos. Yeah. He was, I mean, at least their most notable corner. I can't speak to how he played post post trade over there. But with the thing, I think he feel like he was dinged this year a little bit too. How old is Martian now? He's kind of a litmus test for like, what class did he come out in again? Yeah. Um, yeah. He'll, he'll, he'll, he'll sort of find that Shinobi Wuzye type veteran contract. I mean, he's just about to turn 30. He's ironically, um, he's been in the leagues since 17. He got into the league one year earlier than Denzel, but they're about the same age. Yeah. Just about the same age. His play has not been as, again, graded as well, the last two years. He was traded to Washington in the 24th season was with him this year. I

19:50understand maybe he's not on the field as much like those early New Orleans days. He was on the field 900 plus snaps for his first five years. And then the trend is 415 and 22 621 and 23 687 and 24. And then this past year 521. He was, you know, he's fine. I think he's like going to a contender that he feels like he can get on and, you know, play a role. He'll, he'll let me sense. Yeah. That makes sense. They also, there's some rumors around this. And I guess I didn't really pay close enough attention to the fact that Debo Samuel is a free agent this off season, but there's rumors out there a lot of them, Jake, that he is not coming back to Washington. That's surprised. Not as productive a player anymore as he used to be. Also like has to fit specifically into a type of offense. And that value is challenging to quantify. Right. So I, again, a guy who like

20:51probably is seeking out a contender only can he get a one year with like the Ravens? Can he, can he kind of fill that, you know what I mean? Like that's like, is he going to Buffalo, Tampa, something like that is where I feel like Debo is ultimately headed. So like last year, they renegotiated his deal going into the 25 season to give him one year, 17 and a half million. I don't think he ever gets that kind of money again. Now you have the giant breakout year in 21, we went 1,400 in five yards. Yes. And then since then, 632, 892, 677, 27. I mean, Debo's how old now, 20. Let me check here. He's probably one of those guys who's against sneaking up on 30. Yeah. Just turn 30. He's in that category of guys where he's probably chasing one year deals from now on. I feel like I watched a good deal of Washington football this year and I

21:56don't know why. I think they're in prime time a lot because they thought Daniels was going to be playing and stuff. But I feel like I watched quite a few of their games this season and he seemed to disappear a lot. Yeah. No, he did. He was not. He's just not a serious factor the way he wants was wasn't that that break tackle machine and yeah, some of that stuff. So I'm not, I'm not surprised. I don't. There'll be some offense that maybe wants to add, like I said, chasing something in that very specific position where you want that guys maybe a little more extension of your run game type. Where does that lead to Zilean? Maybe in like a Denver or something? Be interesting. Makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But that's just one day, Brad. We got a lot of days to come with more moves like these. We got, you know, and franchise tag stuff to announce and there's a whole bunch of moving parts. Yeah. Last thing I was going to say is Coleek or Khalil Mac. Angels wonder. He's coming back. He's injury though, right? I think there were some people

22:58thinking he might retire after that injury. Yeah. Yeah. He's an arm injury he had. Yeah. Dislocated elbow. Yeah. Who officially coming back in the LA has said that they will make him a priority. We'll see how much of a priority. Still getting to done. I mean. Yep. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Still affected past Russia in 10 games, five and a half sacks. He had 17 sacks in the 23 season. Yeah. Nothing to scoff at. He can still get it done. It's kind of a good test for like where Miles is in a few years, right? Like 100 percent. Interesting player. Yeah. Very interesting. And, uh, yeah. They tell you at the combine, they're looking at the bears, and looking at maybe going after those interior trades and then drafting some tackles, and they trade for a tackle. Taxic, Andrew Berry form. Perfect. Twist. They go out and trade for Titus Howard. They give up, and the Browns have

26:02this weird thing about like going out and doing these moot, like they get announced early, like so early in the morning. So he's sitting down on my desk. I'm like, oh, is that real? And it was real. So they make a trade. They swap off the guns. I mean, I say swap. They sent to fifth, which is a funny sort of thing. They get the fifth round pick for Zadarius Smith. They trade that pick to Philly for Kenny Pickett. Then trade or no, DTR was a part of that originally traded over there for Kenny Pickett. Then the fifth round pick goes with that, I think, for Kenny Pickett, DTR and the fifth. Then the fifth round comes back from Vegas, the ship pick it out to Vegas, and then this pick becomes Titus Howard, which then this pick was taken, if I recall, maybe I'm wrong about this, but I think this is the pick they then took to trade for David Montgomery, but I think they traded to fourth. I don't know, long story short,

27:03this pick is moved around. Now it's turned into Titus Howard, and we'll start with your initial reaction to this decision, Brad. I'm fine with it. I think I'm fine with it because the more shocking thing was like the contract attached to it, I guess. I guess that's a more substantial thing. Giving up a fifth for Titus Howard is fine, but then giving him three years, 63 million dollars is me, you know, you're making a commitment to this, right? Essentially two for 45 is what I'm seeing because of his already in place here, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not nothing, it's north of 20, north of 20. I mean, restructured out to, this is probably one of the contracts, maybe they take down to the minimum or whatever and push out a couple of years.

28:06I don't know. I'm just guessing how Andrew very operates and pay him in advance, but that's that's the chief concern to not not cut you off, but the chief concern is like not trading for Titus Howard, who again, we'll talk about some of the metrics in a minute, but like he's in a vacuum fine. I mean, getting a player like this for a fifth, the chief concern I have is getting veterans like Howard is going to be 30 soon. Yep. So he's going to play this year at 30 and like he's getting paid. He got another couple years of getting paid. And when I get concerned is like this isn't an organization that has the track record of older players always turning quality performances, right? Like when you trade for them, some have hit some have not. But what I get a little bit concerned about is I feel like a lot of the success they have had on some of these

29:06guys is predicated on them pushing for another contract either in Cleveland or somewhere else. He's getting paid. So the money isn't concerning for him in so much that we still need to see some of the finer details of the of the deal to totally understand the Browns year by year liability here, but I am. And again, I have in a vacuum, no problem with this like you are paying on the free agent market. If you try to go sign receipt Walker, you're probably paying, you know, 20 million plus could be more could be right there at 20 million. And this is like a way to make sure that you've locked in. Now the difference is Walker's younger is 26 and some change versus 30. So that's a little bit of a point, but you're not you don't have to battle any other team for his services. The worst thing is going to free agency got to sign this player and somebody else signs him. That's where you start to get no problem. So the trade in and of itself, again, no problem with it, right? I think it's totally fine to pursue mid-tier offensive lineman. The good part for what Titus

30:12has done is his right tackle work has seemed to yield fewer pass breakdowns pressures than any other position, which helps, right? I think he's done fairly well at right tack. He's played left guard like shit, man, this this year, he played six games. I think it left guard started at left guard and then two starting at right guard early in the season and like 12 at right tackle. Now the Texans were in oh, they're they're acting weird here. They obviously traded away Laramie Tunzel. They drafted this area onto Ercery, the Minnesota kid that they wanted to play. They have I think is it Dwayne Brown that they have as the other tackle and like he's he's moved inside because they they maybe want to have somebody help reinforce the middle for them. It's just all very weird. It's all very weird. And I obviously think the hesitation Brown's fans would have is that

31:18offensive lineman are hard to come by and team giving somebody away and eating like 18 million and dead cap like they have to. It does make you squint. Offensive lineman are hard to find and a team willingly giving up on who's coming off one of their better seasons. Um does make you say like, okay, should I trust this? Should I not? I don't pretend to know the inner workings of the contracts for the structure of like how Houston goes about working deals and maneuvering cat, right? I don't pretend to know. He kind of talked about that a little bit and other people did as well. Like he was not surprised as he said in his quote, right? Like uh they want to play some younger different players like they are going to take this money that they would have had to give him an extension, right? And they're going to give it to Willie Anderson and whoever else they have to pay, right? Uh that they that they prioritize more.

32:23Now the Browns are in a situation where they have to rebuild an entire offensive line. I think my reaction, my immediate reaction and judgment to this is after you you talked about the versatility is I don't know really exactly how they want to use them. Like do you think that for sure is spoke or somebody dropped it? Yeah, somebody today, um I think Fowler retweeted this and said that the Browns plan to play him at right tackle. I'm pretty positive. The Fowler said that which I'm fine with, right? And I think that like I said earlier, the idea here is that yeah, he gives you a very clear right tackle option for this year that isn't Cam Robinson style. Like oh, we got somebody. He's competent, right? The run game stuff you'll see in the film room today. It can get sloppy at times. It's not a disaster. It can get sloppy at times. Not disaster. And the past blocking stuff is good enough. The only thing I have concern about is just, is he going to stay? He's at 2 knee injuries

33:30in his career. Is he just you just get a little bit of that like and I'm not, people are going to argue me like, hey man, Jack Conklin got hurt way more before. I just am like, there's some PTSD about older offensive linemen staying healthy. That's natural. It's a lot of strain on the body and you want to make sure you get the most out of that deal because it's not just giving up a fifth. It's also giving up like we said a, you know, it was Jeremy Fowler who said that the intention of the Brown 2, he does stay at Daniel Oyafousi. Maybe he maybe he's Daniel's the one that said it. But Jeremy was just echoing it. I'm not totally sure. I didn't dig. I just saw that from Jeremy today, but they're in tension. It should be right now. Right now, if you draft like Miller, you draft somebody, you know, slew of different mid-round day two type tackles that just steps in and he's comfortable and he's playing like, all right, man, well, what do we do now? Well, we maybe bump them down and say, play left-guard, he's played right-guard. He can do a little bit of both. This is not a washed cause here. And I think that's the appeal is like it doesn't now eliminate the

34:30Browns from selecting a kid with right tackle long-term potential down the line, right? Maybe you start to lean a little bit now away from like the guys who have been right-side only college players to like, do we really like want to lean into Caleb Lomu? Do we want to lean into Monroe Freeling? Do we want to lean into these guys like Kaden Proctor who are left tackle predominantly types? Browns of danced and listen, you can get guys that switch sides and it can find success. Jessica Williams is not defined all the answers here, but it's just it's something you would like to keep a player comfortable doing if you can to stay on that side. So the idea here is maybe now you kind of like lean off the midline and you're leaning toward a tackle that's got more left tackle experience. I get that, but the point of the conversation here is that now they are not limiting their scope to only certain things like Titus hasn't played left tackle, but he has played plenty of right tackle and plenty of both guards and that does lend itself to like,

35:32I wouldn't sit here and make your draft mocks and be like, well, they don't need a right tackle. Now, no, he's 30 and the deal is only going extending two years and like, they're going to want to have whether it's this draft or the next, a succession plan would be smart that also involves Titus' ability to get down inside and play guard too as a long-term solution. I wouldn't shy away from that if you like a player is like, I guess I'm getting out is I'm not eliminating anything today because of Titus. We're not doing that. Same. And I think that's a good thing. I think step one, this is step one in rebuilding your offensive line, right? And I think step one in the versatility it comes with the ability to play right tackle. You know what I mean? It allows you to kind of have some direction, but also have some versatility moving forward. Like if things fall into place a certain way unexpectedly, like he gives you the ability to still put together a nice offensive line by kicking him inside if you have to or whatever if need be. But if things play

36:39out perfectly or as they plan, you know, and he starts your right tackle, then great. I wouldn't say he's like a puzzle piece that fits a whole fight. He, to me, is more of like a middle a wild in the middle of your bingo card. He can get different things that can make it all work here, right? Which I think is a good thing, especially for step one, for step one. And so let me ask you this. When you, I mean, we're looking at his grades right now, but like as you evaluate him now, is he an above average right tackle? Or is he average to you? I mean, I mean, I mean, I would say he's a mid mark. This is a way Brandon Thorne phrased it and having watched it, I think this is fair. He's a mid market tackle. He is like a very, very league average tackle that will probably have some spurts above and some spurts below. But that's the going rate.

37:39This is the same player just a little older than Rashid walk. This is what you're finding on the open market, right? You're going to have to do at some point. Would I prefer him to walk or little yes, by a wide margin, right? There's some other guys that are going to hit the market with like positional versatility. I saw Liam Eikenberg was released by the dolphins. Titus has put good enough film in place like he's got long arms that he understands how to use those arms. He understands how to use the frame. He can handle some speed. He can handle counters inside. I liked his ability to look at past Rush stunts, twists, exchanges, and sort those out. He can still play. Can they get three years out of him? I don't know. Can they get two? Probably. So it's just a matter of then figuring out, you know, who's going to be the succession, the succession plan there that makes sense, right? And also needing to now look at it. And like, there's a lot of people that think the Browns are very limited on resources, which I think is a fair assumption for this offseason

38:41about how much can they invest? Well, let's see how much this deal impacts this year's cap, because I think there's a lot of 27, 28 cap relief coming. And I wouldn't be surprised to see them navigate this in a way that puts a lot of that stuff at the very end of this deal and helps the Browns continue to stay flexible this offseason. There's so many people like I saw Seth Walter at ESPN who's like, and their win rate stuff is whatever. He's like kind of like he called him a below average tackle, but he talked about the Browns already limited resources this offseason. And I understand that perceptionally, but like they'll have a way here as they get some more situational relief in the coming years to sort of take deals like this. Like I don't think Brad, this sort of deal tells me they're probably not going to get the Tyler Linderbombs of the world in this cycle. But there's a certain chance to me that they could go get like a high in like a low teens, Elijah Vera Tucker, APY type player. They could still be very active in the middle tier free agent world. And yeah, I think it's a nice look. I think it's a nice start. Listen, the film

39:48I encourage you to watch it. There's a lot to like. There's a lot to that you can see where you know times catching up a little bit not as dominant as physically as he once was. Some of that stuff pops up. But like his anchor's still good last year. The run game stuff he can at times really root people out of the front side. He can run down the backside. And there's enough there to see how this is a step in the right direction for what was a very bad offensive line last year. Yeah, I think so too. If you're taking step one, I think this is a perfectly valid move. The flexibility, the versatility that he brings makes me more encouraged by it. And like you said, if you can get two years out of it, I think it's great. And and you know, three would be amazing. So and I feel like it's a necessary move. It's not like super, super exciting. But if as we talk about rebuilding a competent offensive line, this is a nice first step to doing so.

40:55And I just think that's the way it goes. And I think it's a smart move. As I was saying before and you just it reiterated now, I think he probably when we see the structure of this, it's restructured in a way that you know, pushes money to the future. And he's probably, you know, making like the minimum and they turn some of it into a bonus and and pay him cash up front as they are known to do. And along with like Denzel and when they re in you know, a restructured to Sean's, they will still have plenty of money to spend on the the open market. You know, we talked about we are over under was 20 million guaranteed to one player uh in free agent. This is it. This is really it. This count as it kind of it's kind of viewed the same way, right? I know. You know, I I guess I would I would be really surprised if they chased

42:00you know, again, I think Linda bombs the one and Rashid Walker will still push that number too. So yeah, those guys will push a Dan Moore's number from last year. And I think Linda bombs got a chance because of you know, just he's pretty good and and even like really good guys don't get to the market, you know, so Linda bombs got a good chance to to collect some real money. And he gets the he's such an advantage with the franchise tag at center where it's like he's really good, but 27 million is nuts number. So like it's a tackle. It's fine. So whatever we'll pay that for a year figured out, but not not center. So he's going to listen. I wouldn't be surprised if he pushes that number close to it. I really wouldn't from some team desperate, the Raiders, whatever. So I think the Browns are out on some of those now, but again, like the the mid tier guys we've talked about on other shows and written about are in place. I don't think this makes them like eliminated from improving the roster through free agency now, right? No, no, I think part of the benefit of this is that you can plan out your next steps ahead,

43:08like before free agency even starts, you have one piece in place that you spent some some money on and you can construct it in a way that allows you to plan out your next few steps. So you're ahead of the game by doing this in the trade before the legal tampering period and all that stuff. So I think getting a early jump on the deal, the versatility that he does bring is a great way to take step one in rebuilding this line. You know, we don't know what Dewan Jones is going to be. Obviously, you can't count on him, but he is coming back as well, right? So yeah, yeah. But it's a good start. I think there's certainly more work to be done. This doesn't come without risk. We've laid out the risk. We understand how this sort of deal can go sideways. We've watched it, right? It just depends on availability. Conclin got to, you know, unfortunately rolled up on at the start of the 24 season. Like, as you can stay healthy, I think there's competent play in here and they need more guys that can just bring flat out competent play and we'll hope that that is

44:14the manifestation here. Well, also, you know, pinpointing that this is not sure far. I think there's a little bit not so much. I don't mind the pick at all. It's just like the payment, right? The payment. So we'll see if it works out. Good start, though, in terms of just improving the talent in the room. So there you go.
