Laporta Leads Barcelona President Race

In the preliminary round for the March 15th election, he collected 8,169 signatures from club members, THE, highest of any candidate and well above the required 2003-37. That puts him ahead of Victor Fawn, with 5,144, and Mark Siria with 2,844, narrowing the race to these three. Earlier this week, three other hopefuls fell short and were eliminated, including Xavier Bila-Hawana with a 1,593. While LaPorta leads, his total is down from the 10,272, he gathered in the 2021 election that he won. Fought, however, boosted his support from 4,713 that year to his current figure. LaPorta brushed off the drop as no big deal, saying it's tougher to rally signatures
