Welcome in. You're locked into prediction market HQ daily sports Thursday, February 12, 2026. I'm Alex Mercer and if you're not already in a prediction market app, we need to fix that right now. We've got five plays on the board today. Sharp money is moving and the odds are already shifting. Jump into call sheet, polymarket or your app of choice. As always, we'll be tracking the sharp action through polymarkets data. Marcus set the table for us. What are we looking at today? Alex two words, injury carnage. The mavericks are down to nine active players tonight. Luke out, Kyrie out, Cooper flag out and now Marshall and Gafford both walked out of the arena and boots earlier today. I've got my eyes locked on that PJ Washington rebounds market. The public is hammering the over at 59% and I think that's dead money. We'll get there, but first let's get into it. All right, pick one bucks plus 14 and a half against Oklahoma City. This one tips off at 7.30 p.m. ET tonight, so we'll have updated market data in our 6.30
evening edition, but let's get you framed up now. The market is essentially pricing this as a near certain thunder cover and I just don't buy it. Not tonight. Here's why. Both superstars are out. Yannis is on the shelf with the calf. SGA is out with an abdominal issue and Jalen Williams, OKC's secondary engine is also listed with a hamstring. Meanwhile, Milwaukee just dropped 34 points from Cam Thomas last night. The man signed a minimum deal four days ago and immediately tied a franchise record. Right. And look, OKC's net rating is plus 11.1 best in the league, but that number is built on SGA and Williams running their system. Strip those two out and you're looking at a Chet Homegren heavy offense trying to go at Milwaukee's twin towers lineup. The bucks are second in the league in perimeter shooting at 39.2% from three. That's a real floor. Exactly. 14 and a half points is a lot to ask of a shorthanded defending champion squad on the road. I like the cushion here. If you can get bucks plus 14 and a half before tip, that's the number we want.
Pick two trailblazers and jazz nine PM ET evening show will have updated updates. We're targeting Vite Critchie's points over eight and a half. Now, Marcus, I know what the skeptics are saying. This guy is shot just 30.6% from three cents arriving in Portland. That's a real concern. But here's where I land on it. The matchup is doing a lot of the heavy lifting. The jazz defense is historically bad right now. 30th in efficiency. 119.8 adjusted defensive efficiency. They're giving up a league high 126.4 points per game. And Walker Kessler, their best interior deterrent is out. Critchie's a 42.3% three point shooter by track record. Even at 30% in Portland, the volume of open looks Utah generates for opponents is absurd. And the pace context matters here. Utah's fifth and pace. That's a high possession environment. More trips, more opportunities, more chances for Critchie to get into a rhythm. Damian Lillard is out. Shade and sharp is out. This man is going to see the ball.
Eight and a half points in a get right game against the league's worst defense. I think that clears. We stay in Portland, Utah for pick three, but we flip to two money Camara's rebounds. And we're going under 5.5. Now, here's the thing. Three days ago, Camara dropped a career high 30 points and knocked down eight threes. Eight. That's a perimeter performance. And it tells you exactly where his role has drifted. The clean gin factor is real. Donovan clean gin has taken over the starting center job and he's averaging 11.2 boards over his last five starts. 11.2. He is vacuuming the paint. Camara is now a floor spacer. He's being pushed further and further from the basket. And the back-to-back angle compounds it. Portland is playing the second leg tonight. Fatigue is a factor and Camara's last three games. He's averaged 4.7 rebounds, including just three in his most recent outing. The high pace from Utah creates more possessions, sure, but those extra rebounds are going to clean gin, not Camara. Under 5.5 feels comfortable.
The roll shift is the alpha here. This isn't a matchup bet. It's a structural bet on how Portland is deploying him. Pick four, Mavericks Lakers 10 PM ET evening show. And this one, Marcus, is almost uncomfortable to look at. Naji Marshall points under 18.5. The man is walking around in a boot and he's still being priced as an 18.5 point scorer. The market hasn't fully processed the Mav's injury report. Marshall has a left foot strain. He's projected to come off the bench. And here's the brutal part. Luca is out. Kyrie is out. Cooper flag is out. And Gafford is out. The Lakers defense knows Marshall is the primary threat. There's no one else. See, that's the thing. In a normal injury scenario, a guy stepping into a starring role might exceed his number. But when the defense can exclusively game plan for you and you're operating in a low assist offense, Dallas ranks 19th in assist rate. You're not getting clean looks. You're getting doubled, trapped and forced into tough isolation shots on a bad foot.
Lakers are 10th in pace, not slow, not fast. This isn't a shootout environment. And with Deandre eight and back in the lineup, the interior is locked down. I don't see Marshall sniffing 18 points in this context under 18.5 on a compromised primary target wing with no supporting cast. That's the play time for it. Dog of the day. All right. Dog of the day is PJ Washington rebounds under 5.5 Mavericks Lakers same game 10 PM ET. And listen, I know under doesn't sound like a dog play, but this is a contrarian bet against overwhelming public action. 59% of the money is on the over. The market is pricing Washington as a dominant rebounder tonight. And I think that's a fundamental misread of the situation. Walk us through it because on the surface, lively's out with a season ending surgery. Flag is out. Dallas is thin. You'd think Washington cleans up on the glass. That's exactly the trap. Here's the reality. Washington has averaged just 5.1 rebounds over his last 10 games. He's been on a 26 minute workload since coming back from
a concussion. And tonight, the Lakers are rolling out LeBron James and Deandre Aten, two players who own the paint. Aten is a traditional center who is going to establish interior position. LeBron is a glass crashing force. Washington is a perimeter spacing foreman. He is not fighting Aten for defensive rebounds. The market probability on this sits at 0.41. So we're looking at roughly 41 cents. That's a standard value play. Not a long shot. The public is creating the inefficiency here by piling on to the over narrative without accounting for Washington's actual role in Dallas's spacing scheme. Exactly. The Mav's injury crisis makes people assume Washington rebounds more. But a depleted roster doesn't automatically mean more boards for him. It means fewer paint presences overall. And the Lakers fill that void on the other end. The 59% public lean is our signal. Sharp money sees this differently. 59% public on the over 5.1 average over the last 10, 26 minutes of run and Aten LeBron patrolling the paint under 5.5 Washington rebounds. That's
the dog of the day. All right, let's button it up. Five plays today. Bucks plus 14 and a half against a shorthanded O.K.C. Critchy over eight and a half points against the league's worst defense. Kamara under 5.5 rebounds as clean gin takes over the paint. Marshall under 18.5 points on a compromised foot with no supporting cast and our dog of the day, PJ Washington under 5.5 rebounds fading the 59% public pylon. All five are live tonight and will have updated market data, live sharp money movement and any last minute injury news in the prediction market HQ daily sports evening edition dropping at 6.30 PM ET. Don't miss it. Big slate tonight. A lot of moving parts. Stay sharp. Before we go, remember the lines and market prices we've quoted are from the time of recording. Markets move fast, injury reports drop late and you may be hearing this 10 or 20 minutes after we sat down. Check your prices before you commit. If you can still get Washington under at or under 41 cents, that's the value window we're targeting. And as always, we encourage you to
jump into call sheet, polymarket or your prediction market app of choice. We'll be tracking the sharp money through polymarkets data all day long.
