The call came in shortly before 10pm, and one adult was found dead inside the carport area where the heavy flames started. Initial reports suggested two people might be trapped, but crews arrived to heavy fire conditions in the carport with no one visible outside. The second occupant had already gotten out safely before help arrived, avoiding further harm. Crews quickly got the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby homes.
