LAFC Kicks Off Season with 2-0 Win Over Houston

Los Angeles FC kicked off their season with a strong 2-0 win over Houston Dynamo on Saturday 9th. Mark Dogato scored the opener and added an assist while Saun Hungman dished out two assists. Hugo Loris earned his second straight clean sheet with just two saves. Houston's night went from bad to worse after defender Antonio Carlos picked up a red card right before halftime, leaving them a man down. Things got even tougher when they lost another player to a red in the 82nd minute, right before L.A.F.C.'s insurance goal. Dogato found the net in the 56 minute off passes from Saun and Dennis Boanga, marking his 26th career goal. Steven Ustashio then scored his first lead goal late to seal it with another assist from Saun. L.A.F.C. improved to two wins and no losses, grabbing their first victory in Houston since July 12, 2019.
